My Present This Year It means a lot to me That at Christmas time My children will be happy Even though I'm not there for them And as hard as that is It means the world to me That my friend stepped forward And agreed to look after my son As no one else could It means that he will be happy With people that he's comfortable with At this special time And not with strangers So as hard as it is That is the best present this Christmas I could have ever wanted Is for all my children to be happy Comfortable And with people they know Until I come home ##poetsin #poetry #Christmas #present #kindness #gratitude
