Or would I have just passed you Without word of any kind? But I was different too Before you were mine A shadow in search of divine And there you were Like a waking dream Suddenly sublime And helped with the Broken pieces I couldn't find The concept of us, Before you were mine Not just you or me But how would it define The act of two becoming one In the grand design A diamond rough until Some polished refined.
