Broken Again Chapter 6 The spark in his eyes were the like fireworks flowing through the night sky. Abigail wasn't paying attention to his words, she was listening to his voice as if she was listening to his thoughts. She thought of Nick as a sort of light, a guide away from the darkness. She looked him in the eye one last time before she got off the bus. For the first time in 17 long years, a smile spread across her face, a smile showing a mixture of feelings. A smile that said she was in love. And as she walked into her first class, she stared feeling different, a good different. She wasn't behaving like herself, but in a good way. She started playing with her black-brown hair, Biting her pinkish lips, blushing? No, that's not what she'd do. Was it? "Abigail Winters" back in the real world her first class teacher repeatedly called her name to no reply. "Huh" she shook her head. Everyone staring right at her. "Sorry" she looked down at her feet. "What's wrong? Forgot you're name" a blonde girl dressed in bright pink said as everyone else laughed. Abigail rolled her eyes. "Was it that or you just can't talk?" Her remark meant nothing to her. Her purpose for reply wasn't needed. She simply looked the girl head to toe and laughed. Of Course this being a typical popular girl, she was easily irritated by Abigail. "What's your name? I love your outfit" she said sarcastically. "Sarah, and please this is no worse than the rags you wear" she squeaked and turned her back on her. Abigail looked down at her faded jeans and black tank top. "How dumb" she muttered under her breath as she faded back to her imaginary world. "Oh wow, now I'm daydreaming too" she thought. Oh well. What's stoping her?
