A Book, A Letter And A Drama Teacher Something unbelievable happened yesterday! My drama teacher is an author, called Anne-Marie Conway (go read her books she's amazing!) and I read one of her books (Tangled Secrets) and it was brilliant! Think Jacqueline Wilson and Cathy Cassidy are suddenly combined. So as you do, I wrote her a letter about how fantastic it was. I wrote it on I don't know, Monday before last and gave it to her last Friday. I was ill until yesterday, when we have our drama lessons. She asked me to stay behind after everyone else and handed me a floral print gift bag, in it a letter contained in an envelope addressed to me and a book. The book was Butterfly Summer by Anne-Marie Conway and signed by her to me. The letter said that on the day my form teacher had handed it to her, she was actually feeling terrible about her writing and when she read my letter, she wrote "it made me realise that even if one person reads my books and loves them then it's worth carrying on." and I think that that's something we can all consider from time to time. Bunny!
