The #life Changer Episode 6: Archie and Jordan (Archie is sitting in class waiting for his form tutor to arrive. When she does she is followed by someone Archie has never seen before) Teacher: Everyone listen up! We have a new student. Would you like to introduce yourself. Jordan: Well I'm Jordan and I moved from Bristol because my dad got a promotion and then we moved to London so he could be closer to work. Teacher: Thank you Jordan please take a seat. (Jordan sits down next to the empty chair next to Archie and everyone laughs) Teacher: What is wrong with everyone it's just a seat and Archie make sure you make him welcome. (Jordan turns to Archie and starts to talk) Jordan: So you must me Archie then. Archie: Yeah I am show me your time table and I will line it up with mine. (Jordan digs through his bag and gets out a piece of paper with room numbers and names of classes on it. Archie does this so he can see if he has the new kid with him throughout the day) Archie: Looks like your with me throughout the whole day. Jordan: At least I will have someone I know. (The bell rings and everyone gets up) Jordan: We have gym class where is that? Archie: Follow me and don't get lost. (They both stand up and walk towards the door through the corridors and into the old gym. Where a teacher takes the register and then they walk into the changing rooms to get changed) Jordan: Don't you have changing compartments? Archie: No we just get changed in front of each other. It's not like we're getting fully naked. Jordan: I'm going to get changed in the toilets. Archie: Why what's the problem? (Archie gets changed and goes to the door where Jordan is) Archie: Jordan everyone's leaving now and I don't want to be late for basketball. Jordan: I'm almost ready. (Jordan unlocks the door and walks out) Jordan: I'm ready come on let's go. (They walk out of the changing room and walk into gym) (During the game of basketball Archie is dribbling with the ball and Jordan is running in front of Archie then Jordan runs into one of the gym wall and as soon as he does this Archie throws the ball to Jordan but the ball collides with Jordan’s head the Jordan gets knock back and he hit his head on the wall behind him then he falls to the floor) Archie: Fuck. PE Teacher: Archie take Jordan to the nurses office. (Archie picks up Jordan and walks towards the nurses office. Archie opens the door and puts Jordan onto the bed in the nurses office. Then Archie sits in the chair next to the bed and on the back of the door there is a note saying back at 9:45 the end of Period 1) Archie: I'm sorry it looks like your going to have a nasty bruise on your head. (Jordan starts to mutter and then that muttering turns into words) Jordan: Hi guys. Starting a new schools not easy well we all know that but especially when your gay and you have to see all of these new adorable boys. Some have court my attention but one especially he is about my height with blond hair and he has really nice thick rimmed glasses also he’s a jock and all my readers know I love cute jocks. (After that the words turn into mumbles and eventually back in dead silence and Archie is left blushing) Archie: Well your not to bad yourself. Now I understand why you didn't want to get changed in front of all the boys in the changing room you didn't want any one seeing your down stairs getting excited. I had to do that too but you eventually learn to live with it and not think about them. (A little while later and Jordan wakes up) Jordan: What's going on? Archie: Oh you hit your head on the wall after I threw the ball at your head. (Jordan sits up straight and lays on the wall behind him) Jordan: That explains why my head hurts. Just a quick question did I say anything? Archie: Yeah you did. Jordan: Ummm…..what did I say? Archie: You said you liked someone. (Jordan's cheeks begin to turn red and shock fills his eyes) (In the fear of knowing that Jordan’s secret is out he begins to shake and stutter) Jordan: W…wh..what did I say? Archie: Dude it's fine your secrets safe with me. If you can keep my secret? Jordan: Oh ok I won't tell anyone. Archie: Your quiet cute yourself. Jordan: What? (Jordan starts to calm down and he realises something) Jordan: Your gay? Archie: Well I know that you are. So you now know I am as well. Jordan: So what did I say? Archie: You said you liked jocks. Jordan: Guilty. Archie: And you also said you liked someone around your height with blonde hair and he has thick rimmed glasses. Jordan: Guilty….you know who that is right? Archie: Why don't you tell me. Jordan: Well this boy he's really nice and….and. Archie: Jordan it's ok if you say anything else about me my head won't fit through the door. Jordan: You knew who it was and you put me through that horror. (Archie and Jordan start to laugh then there hands touch. They both stair at each other with cheeks as red as roses and then they both begin to smile at each other) Archie: You was speaking weird like you was speaking to an audience. Jordan: Oh I have a blog I write about my #life and the struggles that come with it. Archie: What's it called? Jordan: My username is JordanH99 and my blog is titled The gay struggle. Archie: I like the name. So your going to write about me and this moment? Jordan: Well I won't use your name I will call you the cute jock. Well if you don't mind. Archie: Yeah sure I would like to read what you post so I'll be reading. Jordan: Cool just a heads up some of my fans are very obsessive and they like to leave really strange comments. Archie: I'll look forward for it. Well if you want to add to your first day post you can write about us going to the park. Jordan: I don’t make stuff up all of its one hundred percent true. Archie: I wasn't asking you to make it up I am asking you to come to the park with me. As a sorry for throwing a basketball at your head. Jordan: Well sure. Ok then. Archie: Meet me at the back gates after school. Jordan: Ok will do. (The bell goes for the next lesson so Archie and Jordan start to leave to go to second lesson) Archie: Are you sure your ok you don't feel dizzy or anything? Jordan: No I'm fine. (After school Archie is waiting for Jordan at the back gate. Then he sees Jordan walking out of school and then he walks towards him) Archie: Hey. Jordan: Hey. (They both stare at each other and get lost in each other's eyes) Archie: Should we be get on? Jordan: Yeah sure. (They start to walk to the park talking about school and other things. When they get to the park they sit on the grass and they talk even more) Archie: So have you ever had a boyfriend? Jordan: Yeah that's why I'm here. Archie: What do you mean by that? Jordan: I hooked up with the bosses son and he court us in bed right in the middle of having sex. It was so embarrassing. Archie: That's so embarrassing. Jordan: Then he’s dad kicked me out and the next day I got a text from him saying we were over. Archie: Oh. Sorry to hear that. Jordan: It's alright. Then after that happened he gave my dad a promotion so we would have to move then I wouldn't be near his son. Archie: I hate men like that he took you away from your love your one and only. Jordan: Oh I’m fine with it. It's not like I really liked him we just hooked up. (Jordan’s eyes start to water and Archie puts his arm around Jordan for comfort) Archie: Are you ok? Jordan: I'm fine. Archie: He was your first love it's hard losing that. Jordan: I'm glad I made a friend like you otherwise I would have been lost. (Archie looks at Jordan and Jordan does the same) Archie: Has anyone ever told you how easy it is to get lost in your eyes. (They both lean in and kiss as they are doing this Archie puts his right hand on the back of Jordan’s neck) Jordan: That was amazing. Archie: That's just the start. (They start to kiss again then Jordan loses balance and falls back and lays on the grass still kissing Archie. Then Jordan's phone starts to ring, so they stop kissing and Archie joins Jordan laying on the grass. Then Jordan answers his phone) Jordan: Hello. Oh ok I'll be there. Bye mum. Archie: What's wrong? Jordan: Sorry I've got to go. Archie: It ok. We still have tomorrow. Jordan: Thanks for being the best. Bye. Archie: Bye. (Jordan quickly kiss Archie and starts to run along the path. As Jordan runs off Archie hears something rustling in the bushes but Archie ignores it) (The next day of school comes around as quick as can be. Archie is waiting outside for Jordan. Then Archie sees him walking down the road towards him) Archie: Hey. What have you done with your hair? Jordan: I got one side shaved and the rest of it I have gelled to one side. Archie: I like it. Jordan: New place new haircut. (They walk into school with everyone looking at them) Jordan: Why is everyone looking at us? Archie: They probably haven't seen you before you know how people are like. Jordan: Yeah probably. Random student: Your disgusting. Jordan: What? Archie: Look at this. (Archie points to a picture of him and Jordan kissing on the grass in the park) Random student: So who's your boyfriend then. (Owen one of Archie’s friends runs down the corridor and takes Archie and Jordan into a empty art room) Archie: What's going on? Owen: Someone took a picture of you kissing with a boy. I never knew you was like that? Archie: Well I am. Did you say they don't know who the boy is? Owen: No one knows. Archie: Well at least he's safe. Owen: I don't know if everyones going to be as accepting as me. (The bell rings so Archie, Jordan and Owen go to form. During form Archie gets several pieces of rolled up paper thrown at him) Random student: Fag have you fucked your boyfriend yet? Teacher: Mitchell go to the head of years office. (The bell goes for first lesson and everyone leaves to go to class) Jordan: So where are we going? Archie: I have to go and speak to someone but we have art in the class room we was in this morning. Jordan: Ok see you there. (Jordan walks off towards art then shortly after Archie walks out of the side gate and starts to walk home. When he gets there Archie packs a bag, goes to the station and gets on a train. On the train Archie texts Owen saying “tell Jordan I'm safe and well I'm living with family and keep him safe for me please Owen”. The train stops at it final destination and Archie gets off the train and leaves the train station. Archie goes to check his phone for directions but he has no signal so his map app is now useless to him. So he turns left and walks down a long road and then turns onto park drive and sees a church half way down the road so he heads towards the church to ask someone for directions he knew he would get real help from there. As he approached the church the bells start to ring this distracts Archie and he doesn't look where he's going then he walks into the notice board outside the church and knocks down a yellow piece of paper which say that if your in trouble come to this house. So Archie forgets about the church puts the yellow piece of paper back onto the notice board and walks to the house across the street and then knocks on the door.) Tim Burns: Hello there how can I help you? Archie: I was wondering about the sign on the notice board outside of the church. Tim Burns: Come in and I will explain everything. (Archie enters the house and he is told everything once he has signed all of the paper work Tim drives Archie to the house. As they get there Tim rings the doorbell and Thomas answers) Tim: Hello there Thomas are you the only one home? Thomas: Yeah Aaron and Nicky are at work and Jamie has gone to the shops for some milk. Tim Burns: Oh ok I would like to introduce you to Archie he will be joining you in the house. Thomas: Oh cool. Hey I'm Thomas. (Thomas puts out his hand and Archie shakes it. Then Jamie walks around the corner) Jamie: Hey Tim. Tim Burns: Hello there Jamie as I was just saying this is Archie he will be joining you in the house. Jamie: Hey I'm Jamie. (Jamie puts out his hand and Archie shakes it) Tim Burns: Well I'll leave you to settle in. See you all later. (They all say the good byes and then they all enter the house) Thomas: Find a room and you can dump your stuff in there. The first two are already taken. Archie: Thanks. (Archie picks the third room on the first corridor and unpacks his things. Shortly after that Archie hears laughing so he goes to inspect. He follows the laughter and he reaches the kitchen where Thomas and Jamie are covered in flower and they are kissing but stop when they realise Archie is there) Thomas: Sorry you had to see that. Archie: What are you making? Jamie: Cupcakes. But during putting the flower away we had a bit of a sexy flower fight. Archie: I can tell from the white hand prints on your butt. (They all laugh then Thomas and Jamie start to clean up. During cleaning up Aaron and Nicky walk through the door) Nicky: What happened here? Aaron: I'm saying flower fight shortly followed by a make out session. Thomas: Took the words straight out of my mouth. (Aaron and Nicky hug Thomas and Jamie. Then Aaron notices Archie) Aaron: Oh sorry there missed you on the way in I'm Aaron. Archie: Oh it's alright. I'm Archie. Nicky: I'm Nicky when did you get here? Archie: About 2:30. Aaron: Have you picked a room? Archie: Yeah. Nicky: Have these two loonies been alright? Archie: Yeah I found it quite amusing walking into a flower fight. Aaron: So what does everyone want for dinner? (They all shrug there shoulders and look around at each other) Aaron: Looks like I'm getting in pizza. What does everyone want? (Aaron call in a take away pizza and they have the cupcakes for dessert)
