The #life Changer Episode 4: Thomas and Jamie (Jamie is walking towards the park to meet Thomas for the Sunday kick about. This is a tradition of there's to meet up every Sunday to have a chat and play football) (Jamie gets to the park and starts to wait for Thomas. A little while later and Thomas is walking towards Jamie) Thomas: Hey. Jamie: Hey. (They hug and start playing football. Seconds later and Thomas scores) Thomas: See that's how it's done. (Thomas’s phone vibrates and he answers it) Thomas: Wait a minute I've got a text. (Thomas reads the text. And looks confused) Jamie: What's wrong? Thomas: Kirsty just text me. I'm close can you see me. Jamie: Well she's got to me around somewhere. (Thomas looks to his left and sees her) Thomas: Oh god. Jamie: What? Thomas: Let's just say she's heading this way and I didn't really want to see her today. Jamie: Why I thought things between you were good. Thomas: She thinks I'm cheating on her so she keeps on turning up like this. Jamie: Sorry bro. (Jamie smiles at Kirsty as she walks up to Thomas and gives him a hug) Kirsty: Hey babe. What's up? Thomas: Oh nothing much. What's up with you? Kirsty: Glad you asked I noticed you didn't send me good morning this morning. So what was you doing that was more important then texting me? Thomas: I was texting Jamie about the work experience my dad is getting us in his kitchen. Kirsty: Oh ok I'm having a party on Friday and your invited. Thomas: Cool who else is coming? (Kirsty lists so people) Thomas: Is it ok if Jamie comes? (Kirsty looks over at Jamie) Kirsty: Yeah sure he can come. The more the merrier. (Kirsty gets a call and she answers it) Kirsty: Ok I'm on my way in coming. (She puts down the phone) Kirsty: Sorry babe I have to go see you later. (Kirsty walks off and heads for the park gates) Jamie: She's quite the character. Thomas: Yeah I know. (Thomas walks over to where the goal post is and rests his back against it and slides down and sits on the floor) Jamie: What's wrong? (Jamie joins Thomas on the floor) Thomas: I'm thinking of ending it with Kirsty. Jamie: What's gone on? Thomas: I don't think I'm……Its doesn't matter. Jamie: Just remember I'm here for you bro. Thomas: Yeah come on let's play some more football. (After playing football and a week of school. Jamie turns up to the party and he is looking for Thomas) Thomas: Jamie over here. (Thomas walks over from Kirsty to Jamie and Kirsty doesn't look happy) Thomas: Hey Jamie haven't seen you all night. Have you just got here? Jamie: Yeah I have. How much has everyone drunk they are acting a bit drunk. Thomas: Yeah I think Kirsty put something in the punch. Jamie: Well I'll stay clear of that then. (Kirsty walks up to Thomas) Kirsty: I thought you was going to spend the night with me! And why him again. He's always getting in between us. Thomas: No he's not I'm just talking to him. Kirsty: Well you can leave and stop stealing my boyfriend and Thomas your coming with me. Thomas: Ok see ya later Jamie. (Jamie watches Thomas walk up the stairs with Kirsty and then Jamie leaves. Waiting for his dad to come and pick him up Thomas walks out of the house and sees Jamie) Thomas: Jamie what's up! I haven't seen you all night. Jamie: You've been drunk the whole night haven't you. Thomas: Can you keep a secret. I've been drunk all night and Kirsty just tried to have it with me. Jamie: So why didn't you stay with her? Thomas: Because I hadn't seen you all night and I wanted to know if you was ok. You have pretty eyes. (Thomas and Jamie stair into each other's eyes. Then Thomas leans in and kisses Jamie at first Jamie is really surprised and then he relaxes and starts to join in. They stop and stare into each other's eyes again) Thomas: Can I tell you another secret? Jamie: Yeah you can. Thomas: I have liked this kid called Jamie all my #life and now I'm in a relationship with a girl to stop my dad from calling me a poof. (Thomas looks at Jamie and realise who it is and then he walks off) Jamie: Thomas! Tom! (Jamie's Dad pulls up and picks Jamie up then Jamie tell his dad to pick up Thomas. Jamie's dad drives down the road a little bit and put Thomas into the car next to Jamie) (The next morning and Jamie's Phone starts to ring) Jamie: Hello. Thomas: Hey um….. I'm really sorry for whatever happened last night. Jamie: Oh so you don’t remember anything? Thomas: Yeah I can't remember anything. So what did I do? Jamie: You did nothing stupid. Thomas: Well apparently I dumped Kirsty. Jamie: Oh ok then are you ok? Thomas: Yeah I’m fine…… Because we really didn't get to talk last night do you want to come over for a sleepover. Jamie: Yeah sure. We haven't had a sleepover in ages. (Later on in the day Jamie goes to Thomas’s house and Thomas answers the door) Thomas: Hey bro. Jamie: Hey is anyone home? (Jamie enters the house and Thomas closes the door) Thomas: No ones is the parents are at a friends party and they are staying the night. It was there idea I have someone stay with me after the break up. Jamie: So how are you taking the break up? Thomas: I'm fine I with it. I knew that it was going to end soon anyways. Jamie: Come on let's not think about it and have a good lads night. Thomas: Come with me. (Jamie follows Thomas down to the basement and Jamie sees all of the cool stuff Thomas has done to the place) Jamie: How long did it take you to do this? (Lots of fairy lights have been hung up and two sofas are facing the TV ready to watch movies) Thomas: Do you like it? Jamie: Yeah it's amazing. Thomas: Get your sleeping bag ready and I will put in the first movie. (Jamie lays out his sleeping bag next to Thomas's and Thomas starts the movie and they starts to talk) Jamie: How much did you drink last night? Thomas: I can't remember. Jamie: I forgot to ask but how much was you sick this morning? (Thomas panics and just tells the truth) Thomas: I wasn't sick. Jamie: What do you mean I remember when you drank a whole can of fosters and you was next to the toilet for the whole of the next day. Thomas: Oh yeah I remember that day. Jamie: What's wrong it's like your hiding something? (Thomas sits up and so does Jamie) Thomas: I'm going to tell you what really happened last night. I actually only had one small glass of punch and It only made me go mad for a little while. Then afterwards I started to get really emotional and I do remember what I did to you and then I just had to tell you what I feel for you. Then I regretted it instantly and then I walked off. Jamie: So you really meant what you said and what you did? Thomas: Yeah I really do and I don't want to hide behind this fake mask. Jamie: Neither do I. (Thomas starts to cry in relief) Jamie: Don't cry. Oh come here. (Jamie grabs Thomas's face and they start to kiss) Thomas: Well there's no one here. Jamie: This is really embarrassing but I don't know how to do this. Thomas: It's alright I'll walk you through it. (They start kissing and then …) (After… Thomas has his arm around naked Jamie and Jamie's head is laying on naked Thomas’s chest and they're both in there sleeping bags) Thomas: How are you feeling? (Thomas kisses Jamie on the hand and he falls to sleep) (Three weeks later and Thomas is on the phone with Jamie) Jamie: I'm almost at the restaurant. How far away are you? Thomas: I'm not that far away I'm just at the lights near the bus stop. Jamie: That's ages away. Thomas: I know but I've timed it exactly so I won't be…….(Jamie just hears some rustle like the phone has been dropped) Jamie: Thomas! Tom! Tom! ????: Hello. (Jamie hears a elderly ladies voice speaking down the phone) Jamie: Hello who is this? Rose: Hello I'm Rose and I think your friend has had a bit of an accident . Jamie: What do you mean? Rose: Your friend has been knocked over by a car and he's unconscious on the floor. (Jamie drops to the floor and a tear falls off his face) (End)
