Destined Into Darkness-Prologue Footsteps pattering behind me, had my heart racing a mile a minute. I ran through this thick forest searching for my prince. I stopped by a hollow tree catching my breath. The footsteps got louder and closer, but I couldn't move. I was so tired. Hands grabbed my shoulders. A scream escaped my lips as I blindly fought the thing that was holding me. "Its me honey, calm down." I calmed down a little bit, still perked and alert. "Are you and the baby okay?" He questioned concern etched into his face. I nodded. " I found an exit by the east end of the forest, and-" before he could finish his sentence, I hugged him tightly, happy the we can finally leave this horrid forest. Five days, five days we've been in this forest, trying to find a way out. "Come on princess." I began walking, him following me close behind, making sure to keep a firm grip on me. We walked several miles before what appeared to be a opening in the forest. As we approached the edge of the forest, I saw a house. A weird energy washed over me as I passed through the opening. I looked over to my prince, watching him as he looked around this very familiar place. He looked down at me. "Where are we." I shrugged. It appeared to be mostly empty, except for one or two cars passing by every now and then. We walked down the street taking in our surroundings. I pointed out a hospital with a few cars. "I want to make sure the baby is okay." I said looking up at him. He nodded and we headed over to the hospital. When we entered I walked over to the receptionist. "Hello, what do you need?" "Um, I would like an Ultrasound." She typed a few things. "Please sit in the waiting room." I nodded and headed over to the waiting area. My prince came and sat beside beside. There were three other people in here besides us. A woman and her little girl who looked preety sick, and an old man. About twenty minutes later she called for us. We went down the hall, to the tenth door on the left, and entered. The nurse was already setup and was smiling at us as we came in. "Hello, I'm nurse kellan please lay down and take a seat." I laid down and my prince sat next to me. We began. "WHAT IS THIS?!?!"
