No End I woke up, sweat dripping down my face. I panted heavily, it had been another one of those dreams. I shut my eyes tightly, hoping to get back to sleep, other nights my dreams were amazing, so #life like. I wish it would never end, that I could live in the dream. It would be amazing for me. I was only 11 living things hard, especially in school. I was in Year 6, everyone knew each other for years, and I was new. I was never used to being the 'loner' type of person. In my old school I used be the cream of the crop, one of the most popular girls in the class. All thrown away, the years of friendships, memories all gone. Only a distant memory. "Emily?" I heard a deep voice call me. I opened my eyes seeing Joshua... I was back in my old school! However seeing Joshua, I crossed my arms rolling my eyes. "What?" I asked. I knew he had a crush on me since Year 3 which was cute really. But rather annoying all at the same time. "I... Nothing.." He muttered seeing the glow in his cheeks. I couldn't help but have a peek of interest of what he was going to ask me. It wasn't important as soon as I heard the voice of one of my best friends. "Emiilly!!" She called out waving her hands. "Hey Naitry!" I called out. Her dark purple hair bounced on her shoulders as she ran towards me. I smiled, giving her a warm hug. I peared over her shoulder seeing my other best friends, Piya and Stephanie. We were the brightest, prettiest girls in the school. "Hi, what are you all up too?" I asked. I glanced at Stephanie who rolled her eyes. Me and Stephanie weren't the best of friends. "Erm getting ready for the school disco. Duh!" She said harshly. I nodded my head, putting my hand below my chin tapping it. "Ah yes! How could I forget." I asked, not knowing a disco was being put on. Then I heard a screaming down the hallway. Whipping my hair around me and my friends headed down. I then saw Suhair, Tayia, Esther, and some other boys arguing. "Ugh ruffians why do they play football." Stephanie said. I stood their confused, those were my friends at my new school. I turned around, but to my surprise another argument was taking place. Barry, Jack, Wayne were ganging up on Aurel, Milan, and Radwan. "Run." Naitry whispered to me. I ran, past the arguing girls, opening our class door. I slammed it closed soon gazing my sight upon 2 teachers. Ms Lumley and Mrs Freeman. "Girls what are you doing here?" Asked Ms Lumley. "There's different arguments at once, we came to get out of any trouble." Explained Naitry. As the teachers hurried out of the room, Mrs Freeman said "I hope you didn't cause any trouble." We all giggled "Like we would." I said. "Esther and Tayia think they're all that, almost like Sofia..." Piya said shuddering at the thought of Sofia. Stephanie was leaning on the tables, arms crossed. "Ugh, even the thought of her makes me sick! I hate her guts." She said bitterly. "Don't we all?" I asked. All three (including myself) nodded our heads say 'uh huh'. I glanced at the clock. 'Huh, 11:20 already? Better get seated.' I thought to myself. I sat down and the girls followed. Soon, Denise,Jasmine, Plamedi and Sofia following in. I looked at Stephanie and Piya, who rolled their eyes at the passing girls. They thought they were so popular because they could sing, and they were just so full of themselves. I saw Sofia roll her eyes causing me to the the same. I whispered to Naitry "Look at Sofia trying to act cool, because she's finally in a friendship group. Nothing like ours anyway." This caused Naitry to chuckle quietly as we watched the rest of the class come in. As each child came in I quietly said each of their names. Then my friends in my new school came in. "They don't belong here." Piya whispered to me crossing her legs. They sat themselves on the carpet, when I saw a girl called Naerah smiled at me. I smiled back, she was my only true friend at my new school. Stephanie had saw my actions whispering to Piya. Ms Lumley entered saying "As you have noticed another class has entered on short notice. I heard some of the boys groan, "Therefore we need to make space on your tables." I had a sudden urge that told me to ask if Naerah could come sit with us. But I realised if I did so, I would lose my true friends. However that made me question myself, were they my true friends? What was a true friend? As the teacher pointed out the other class where to sit, my eyes sparkled with hope. Unfortunately that hope soon died in my eyes as she was placed on another table. I sighed resting my head on my hand. It was certainly to be a boring lesson. "Anis can you go and rig the lunch bell?" Asked Ms Lumley. I blinked a couple of times, looking at Anis walk away. Was my eyes deceiving me? I glanced over to the clock, almost 12:30 'Lunch' was all that ran through my head. I heard the bell ring, I dashed out of the class. "Where's she going in such a hurry?" I heard Stephanie say. But that was the last thing I heard as I woke up to hear the ringing of my alarm. Reluctantly I got out of bed. New day, new start. Not. I switched my laptop on, humming Taylor Swift's Shake It Off song. I went on MovieStarPlanet, the only way I could communicate with my old friends. I was too young for Facebook, but my friends had it anyway. I was a hardworking student putting education first. I logged on. I waited, waiting for someone to text me, to keep me occupied. But no, I picked up my Chris 'D Lacey book and read. Ten minutes onwards I heard a ping. I put the book down looking up. Piya. I smile was brought to my face. Her and Stephanie was the only friends I knew, Naitry quitted a long time because of educational needs. We chatted for a long time, until my dad called me. I went to the kitchen, he looked angry. "I'm sick and tired of you not working on your education! Your SATs are almost coming up, do you not care? I'm banning you from touching that computer, understand?" I felt like crying. I nodded, and went to my room. At least I had my dreams to look up to. I turned my night light off, resting my book on the table beside my bed. I held on to my toy piglet, from Winnie Pooh. Most children had bears as their cuddly toy but I didn't. I held on to it right, closing my eyes wanting to get to the dream world. I tried counting sheep but it didn't work. I found myself in the lunch room, staring at a movie advert. "Hello?" Naitry asked waving a hand in front of my face. "Huh? Oh... I'm suddenly not hungry." I said pushing my packed lunch away. I went outside. The cold air blew on my face. I saw Mrs O'Brian. Then I saw Naerah, she looked bothered. I ran over to her "Hey what's up?" I asked. "I don't think your friends like me." She said, her eyes not meeting mine. I nodded "I know. But you've got me, and Daffi, and Maria. So many people around you. "Yes but when I met your friends I thought they'd befriend me, but no. Why do they not like me? Be honest." She said. "I... I don't know. They never like new comers. Well this girl called Naitry is really nice, she'll play with you. But the thing is... Me and her... We're afraid of one thing." I said trailing off. Naerah looked at me funny. "What?" She asked. "Piya, the tall blond one. She's like the leader, if we don't agree with her... She'll get mad... She's my oldest friend! If I lose her..." I couldn't finish that sentence, but Naerah did. "If you lose her you've got me." She said giving me a reassuring smile. I nodded my head. I saw Naitry come out. I pulled Naerah by her arm. "Come I'll introduce you to Naitry!" I called. We ran towards each other, still dragging Naerah. Naitry smiled when she saw me,but the smile had faltered slightly when she saw Naerah. I let go of her, letting a few quiet moments pass. "PLEASE I KNOW WHAT PIYA WILL SAY BUT BEFRIEND THE CHILD!!" I pleaded, getting down on my knees. I even managed to fakes some years, holding on to her legs like my #life had depended on it. "Erm... Em's... Get off my leg." She said shaking her leg. I got up quickly brushing my knee. "Oh haha... Sorry. Back to the question, will you? She has no one to play with, all alone. A loner if you like." However I was interrupted with a swat on the shoulder "Hey!" Naerah said. "Hush child let me finish. Ahem, a child different from Sofia, Abbie or Samira. She is kind and caring, take her in! But in secret." I say nudging her with my elbow. Naitry crossed her arms. "Oh alright, but a secret! And she is not a pet." Naitry told me. The last time we had befriended someone in secret, I ended up treating it, I mean her like a dog. "Oh alright." I mumbled. "But she still has to fetch food." I said. This stifled a laugh from everyone. "Come to the girls bathroom!" I decreed sticking finger in the air. "Ignore her, she can be weird. Come let's get some hall passes." Naitry says. We each took a hall pass, heading down to the girls toilet. When we arrived Naitry held her nose "Ugh, not a great choice of venue." Naitry said, her voice sounding funny. I leant I the bathroom sink. It's somewhere that Piya and Steph don't go. "So tell us a bit about yourself." Naitry said. Naerah nodded, playing with her hands as she spoke. "Well... My name is Naerah, and I have no siblings. I like maths the most, and science the least. I have a Samsung brick, and a Sony Experience. That's about it." I put my hands on my hips "My name is Emily, and I have one younger sibling. I like My Little Pony, and my favourite character is Princes Mi Amoré Cadenza or Cadence for short. I like writing stories, and drawing things, and I play the flute and like singing." I explained. "My name is Naitry, I have one younger sibling. I am the best at maths, but starting to not like it. I like Totally Spies, and I am most like Alex and Sam. My hobbies include, singing, a bit I guess." Naitry said. "Let's go outside, we'll meet each other at 11:45 for play and 1:30 for lunch." I smiled at my rather organised and well going plans. I peered my head outside of the bathroom and gasped. "Piya and Steph are here! Outside!" I whispered. "What are we going to do. Both of our social lives will end, and we can't leave Naerah here!" Naitry gasped. "I have a plan... It just might be stupid enough to work." I smiled deviously, giving off my own evil laugh. I woke up, my eyes cracking open to the sun. "Ugh." I moaned, not wanting to pull myself out of bed. It was a Saturday, ran through my head. "Yes!" I gasped! I put my fluffy slippers on, and headed out of the room. "We'll go through the KS1 playground, sneak in the hall and come back out the other way! Besides we got hall passes remember?" I smiled. "Or you could go out one at a time. Me and you first, then take the girls away and let Naerah come out." Naitry said, rolling her eyes. "Pish Posh, mine plan is less likely to get caught." I said waving my hand. "Mine is much more simpler." Argued Naitry. We both stared in each other's eyes, our heads then turning to Naerah. "Whose plan do you want to go with? My insanely stupid but will definitely work, or her ease to get caught in the act plan?" I asked, my eye twitching. "Er.. I'll go with hers." Naerah said pointing at Naitry. I grumbled angrily to myself, grabbing Naitry by the arm. "Come on!" I said, my tone louder then it should. I dragged her out the door to the girls. "Hi girls." I say, a large slasher grin on my face. "Ignore her she's feeling under the weather." Naitry said. "Rainbow Dash will clear it for me." I mumbled. I already was slumping out the KS1 playground when I saw Naitry trail behind whispering the Naerah. 'So much for best friends.' I thought. Reaching the other end of the playground, the whistle blew, as we headed to our line. I wasn't bothered to do anything this afternoon. My dreams got worse, my stomach twisting and turning. Headaches and cold it was so unbearable. Wind slipped through my fingers, leaving my hair catching with the wind. I balanced myself on the uneven cobblestone path. What I had wished long ago turned into a raging nightmare on which had no end. I became insane, one by one I was getting darker. I couldn't live in such disparity. Tonight is the end of everything I had loved, hated and knew. Everything I knew would become distant, a figment of my imagination. Everything I love I would try to clutch on but it would slip out of my hands at every opportunity. For me, this nightmare will have no end, so I will end myself. There is never no end...
