Sailing To Philadelphia I remember once being told, An old story to stir the Soul, Of courage that wouldn't fold, Of men who lived for their goal. And so it went thus (or so the song said), Two Geordie boys from their home were hurled, By their hope they sailed, by the stars they were led, To do nothing less than change the world. The way was hard, they'd never doubt, But the worth of their aim spurned their hearts, To achieve for those who by hate were cast out, New hope, new #life, new starts. And so it came to pass their task was filled, their mark forever cast, To draw their line above man's deeds, and leave them in the past.
