Future Hope I wonder alone, Yet there are people all around, I ponder the idea of escaping, Yet I am incapable of not making a sound, These chains keep me close, Yet my mind needs to be set free, My body is tired and weak, But I need to run away in order to be who I want to be, Am I capable, Oh such great defeat, I search for triumph and victory, Yet fear and pain cause me to retreat, I dream of a day that I can build the courage, To not be trapped inside this cage, To glide high above into the clouds, To lay down my own path and create my own stage, But I fall victim to my own doom, I lose the faith to try, I hope to see a day, Where I can break the bonds and fly.
