Duvet I lay back in bed, can't get to sleep. I read books, change positions, get a drink, dangle out of the window, wear myself out, write a book, do my homework , play with my unicorn build a bear but nothing lulls me away. Last resort, I bury myself in my duvet. Swallowed up by thick hot layers of silk, lack of oxygen choking my mind. Shifting through the heavy fabric, nothing feeling right. So it's time for my last last resort. Closing my eyes, turning out the lights. To simply put it I give in to the dark.
