The jack man On the 30th of October, many years ago, a young girl named Naomi was celebrating her 9th birthday in Aragon, U.S. As a birthday present, Anna, Naomi's friend, gave her a small jack in the box. Naomi and Anna played with it all day. When it became night, Naomi put it beside her bed. For 12 nights, it played a small rhyme, without Naomi turning it. Every night a young boy popped out. Naomi thought it looked exactly like the missing boy in her school. When he popped out, he would sing "My turn is nearly over! I'll be gone! Run while you can, 'cause you don't have long!" On the 13th night, when the rhyme had ended, nothing popped out, so she leant in closer and had a look inside. When her parents came to say goodnight, Naomi and the box were gone. Naomi's parents searched the house and called her name, with no luck. Soon her parents got worried and rang the Police. When the Police interviewed Anna, she replied, " Well, I was walking in the street, and a dark clothed person bumped into me. So I looked at him and he caught my eye. He motioned me toward to, well what seemed like, an abandoned warehouse. When we arrived, he handed me a small jack in the box. I didn't understand why, though I thought it it was nice, so I decided to give it to Naomi for her birthday.. I didn't see the man's face. He was wearing a jesters mask." The police soon left the house and searched for the man, but he was gone. After a few minutes, they found the old warehouse and went inside. The warehouse was empty, all except that small jack in the box, with Naomi inside.
