ˈtrəst trust (verb) [ ˈtrəst] : to permit to stay or go or to do/not do something without fear or misgiving Okay so this is my first blog type deal, but let's just jump into it. Trust. Well, according to the definition up there, trust is many things. Surmised, I'd say it's the ability to rely on someone without fear, but is that even really a feasible idea? Complete reliance on someone to do, not do, say, not say, think, or not think a certain thing based purely off of your want for them to/not to and their apparent or implied compliance. I mention both apparent and implied because the idea of trust goes hand in hand with the idea of relationships. You have a relationship with everyone you meet. Many of those relationships are almost solely prioritized by the idea of trust and selective trust. Picking a choosing how you trust a person and in what scenario. Though with that being said, it would also be true that in a sense, you trust everyone. Up until you apply the factor of fear. When fear becomes part of the whole equation, trust becomes a matter of what info you choose to release to a person versus how they can use it to hurt you and if you can't find a reason to not trust a person with that info, then I think that is the only true trust. For instance, in most situations for the non-deranged folk, you can trust that by introducing yourself with your name, you are giving your real name and in most situations, no one would use that against you. Okay so this could go on forever. Feel free to make your own posts about trust. It's just a strange concept to me. And of course, you may also decide to just comment how you feel. Until next time-
