Kidnapped Through Unspoken Emotions It was a crisp December evening ,as I drove through the poverty stricken streets of my home town. Christmas lights swirled around each and every corner post , while the misty wet air blew in the first snow fall of the season. Amongst all the colorful lights and snow covered trees ,a darkness began to creep upon the festive season. The motion of the wheels turning and crunching ,atop the freshly fallen snow ,would make a series of noises I'd grown to love as a child. The compounding white ,wet snow ,gradually thickening ,as each new flake fell upon its prior descender, and in the serenity of this beautiful motif I'd feel the tires slip from beneath and a small insignificant squeal would escape and snap you out of the hypnotic aura the scenery had pleasantly grafted you into. Strange , I thought to myself that no noise , non what so ever was apparent besides the old truck. The street which were normally filled with holiday shoppers old and young vanished ,as if they'd never existed ,but in my own imagination. All the decorations and colorful sceneries absolved away , leaving only the idea of there existence . The musical backdrop that every holiday season brings with it wasn't in audio mode
