Chapter 11: Breakfast Nayda woke up and stared at her teal blue painted ceiling. 'What happened?' she thought to herself as she moved her head from one side to another. She winced as her neck popped. She slowly stood up and stretched popping the rest of her bones back into place. She looked around and noticed there was a chair next to her bed with a black jacket, she hasn't seen before, thrown across the back of it. 'I wonder who's that is' she thought to herself as she slowly walked to her bathroom. After she relieved herself and took a quick, but steaming hot, shower she walked down the stairs and the smell of bacon hit her. She smiled thinking it was Mira cooking but the tall figure in her sister's cooking apron was defiantly not her. But before she could say anything four figures rushed to her and slammed her against the couch. She hugged all of her sisters and patted all of their heads in turn. "I know all of you love me but why are you crying so hard?" She asked surprised. "You've been asleep for three days and they thought you were going to die." Said a vaguely familiar deep voice that came from beside her and so did the tanned arm that placed at plate of ham, bacon, and cheese omelet in front of her. She stared at it then she looked beside into the face a teenager with a brilliant green eye and a dragon earring in his ear along with eyebrow piercing and snake bites. "Josh? Josh Signs?" Nayda asked incredulously. "The one and only. Alright shimps, your favorites are on the table." He addressed the other girls and they cheered running to the dining room and leaving Nayda and Josh alone. He sat on the other end of the couch, put his feet up on the coffee table and turned on the tv. Nadya stared at him then at the food. She wanted to ask him why her was in her house but her stomach growling caught her attention more. The food smelled delicious so she picked up the plate and took a bite. She gasped as the taste exploded on her tongue, a piece of cheese stretching from the omelet to her mouth. Just the way she liked it. She swallowed and stared at Josh once again. She smiled and finished the rest of the plate. She ate it like she hadn't eaten in days. "I know it's good Runt but slow down before you choke," Josh commanded with a smirk. Nayda coughed as she remembered he was there. She grabbed the glass of orange juice, that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, and took a long drink. Josh was looking at her with his signature smirk on his face. Nadya blushed from embarrassment and got up to wash the dishes. Before she could take a step the dishes were out of her hand and another hand pushed against her shoulder gently making her sit back down. "You are still weak Runt. Chill out on the couch." "Okay, three things," she lifted three fingers and counted off, "one, I am not weak, two, it's a rule in the house that the last one up has to was dishes, and three, my name is Nadya. Not 'runt'." She went to grab the dishes out his hand but he raised it above his head and raised an eyebrow. She huffed. She never noticed the height difference between the two of them. He was a good head taller then her and she had to look up to talk to him. She stood on her tipy toes and tried to get the plate. To keep her balance she placed her hand on his chest. He smirked but he wasn't looking at her face but further down. Nadya stopped reaching for the plate and looked down trying to see what he was looking at. The shirt she wore to bed every night was a plain oversized t-shirt. What she was wearing wasn't it. She wore a tight fitting button down shirt which was coincidentally unbuttoned enough to show the top of her bra. She gasped and turned around buttoning her shirt all the way up. She heard chucking behind her but didn't turn around. Instead she walked towards the dinningroom where laughter could be heard. She stopped at the doorway and turned slightly. "Thank you for making breakfast for us. It was delicious." She smiled softly at him before she went to find the Troublemakers.
