It was as loud as a police siren wailing in my ears. Yet it was as quiet as a feather falling to the floor. It was as maddening as reaching for something that you cant grab, but as calming as going to sleep. The silence was engulfing me, driving me crazy, as i sat in the pitch black of the room i have never seen. i was scared out of my mind, but i knew my friends were with me. That was only another of my problems though. I knew they were here, but the nothingness of being here was dulling my senses. I couldnt see or hear them, i blindy groped around the room for them but i still had no luck. My patience and confidence was wavering. I sat down in the corner and started to weep. What kinda guy did that? i was so ashamed that i was crying that i just started crying more. But just as i was started to think that this would be the end of me, Pheonix showed up. "Pheonix, you found me! i couldnt find you, i had started to lose hope-" "Parker, shut up! they might hear us!" I quickly shut my mouth, wondering who "they" were. I was also wondering how Pheonix could see, but then i remembered that her power was invisibility. Being invisible must mean that when OTHER things are invisible, you can see them. She helped me up, and we walked to the door. She took a bobby pin from her hair and picked the lock, making the door swing open. Light seeped into the room, relieving me of being blind. I would gladly grovel on the ground and worship it, but at the moment, I had better things to do.
