If You Knew The Real Me. If you knew the real me, You'd know that my smile isn't always real. I have to put on a brave face for others, Because my sadness isn't part of the deal. If you knew the real me, You'd know I stay at school for a reason. There I can be a different person, And not every mistake is like treason. If you knew the real me, You'd know I cry myself to sleep, At the worlds sadness and misery, I'd become a sobbing heap. If you knew the real me, You'd know I try to comfort others. I know how it hurts to feel completely alone, So I act like their sisters and mothers. If you knew the real me, You wouldn't believe it at all. To most I'm on top of the mountain, But they don't realise I'm starting to fall.
