Anxiety His subtleties are unnerving. His fingers are constantly running through his air or tapping nervously on a table or his leg. His hand is persistently rubbing the back of his neck, or closing and then opening over and over again. His eyes dart to the floor, and then to the right, then the left, then to the ceiling, and then behind you. He doesn't make eye contact with you, and he seems almost lost in thought as you speak with him. He responds to what you say with short, one word answers, and sometimes grunts. He bites his bottom lip and glances around, as if expecting to see something that wasn't there before. He can't keep still. He keeps moving around in his chair, and keeps blinking every few seconds, as if making sure that his vision is clear. He is anxiety.
