Suspicious Package In Edinburgh Airport There was a suspicious package that was found in someone's suitcase. The people who worked behind the security bar that checked the bags found an unusual package that caused the airport to close for 3 hours. People were disappointed that the airport closed and there journeys were delayed. The good news is no one was hurt as once the package was checked it was confirmed harmless. A further 300 people in five planes that landed as the incident occurred, at 13:50 pm around this afternoon, were forced to spend hours waiting on the runway. People were starting to queue up to board the aircraft suddenly they had to get evacuated from the building because they found a suspicious package in someone's suitcase the people were having to wait a long 3 hours. Elderly people in there wheelchairs had there blankets over them because they were cold waiting outside. This family came to Edinburgh because they went to visit Edinburgh Zoo, They were disappointed because there flight was delayed in the mean time the passengers eventually got to board and finally get back home to see there family and friends. It is understood that the male passenger, who was going through security when he stopped, he had a genuine reason for presence of the residue such as him being an engineer.
