I think the rule for haikis is 5, 7, 5 syllables - so I'm not sure about your 2nd line - but sure what the heck; rules were made to be broken!

Hey Lucky, the middle line does need to be seven syllables. It's weird the way one person can write a load of haikus yet another hates them and finds them hard. But I suppose that is life Keep trying Ducky, but don't worry if it doesn't come as there are so many different forms of poetry out there anyway
