Change Among Us :Paxton Pt. One A quick note before the Story. This is following the same story line so far as the How it began title, I felt that name was just thrown up at the time as more of a filler than an actual title. That being said I'll try to change the name of the Oppose that I've already posted as not to confuse anyone, and the order in which the series is going to be written will be like I.e. (changes among us: name of character pt. 1<). Alright sorry for the detour I suppose we should get to the story. Paxton's father had his nose in a mountain of paper work, no doubt all things on his desk where not the average run of the mill workload. Her father was a very important man, his paper work would decide a lot of the economic decisions that would either be passed on to vote or not. Currently the news said that his efforts where for nil, though by looking at the man you would never know. You would never know that this man had any doubt that he could, and would reign in a country nearly entirely in ruin. The man would never succeed, even Paxton a 16 year old girl knew he wouldn't, it was far to late and she knew this, she even knew that the work he was doing was for nothing, he was more of a figure head than anything. The power of the president of the united states of America had deteriorated rapidly, as the say the rich still get richer and the poor get poorer. Now the problem really wasn't any of the economic issues that our government was still trying to put a lid on, no the real problem was that the certain rich folks in more rural areas of the united states had raises a substantial militia of mercenarys and rebel leagues. When the news said substantial, in D.C. They never told you what was going on in with the rest of the country, because the only time anyone would receive information in the rest of the country was right before a major battle or even after and all they have to say is that the are no longer a territory of the united states, and they are now under rule of the Demico, the leader of the party leading the rebellion. Paxton only knew the later about the country because her father was the president and she had no one to tell. And slowly America lost and dwindled into a very small state on the east cost. Hardly anything really. Paxton watched her father glance at a sheet of paper pick up a napkin, wipe his forehead, then he glanced at the computer and began typing efficiently on the keyboard. Paxton loved her father a great deal, but #life here was not what she wanted, she didn't want to live here any longer, and stranger was that she knew that she would never see her father again that night when she snuck out the white house. And she had no idea where she would be going, but something out there was calling her to California telling her that she needed above all else to be there, and when she thought of not going, of fighting the urge, her stomach would turn and her head would start pounding and she would have to stop and get her bearings, then before she knew it her feet would. E moving and shed be on again. Paxton's story may be the longest as it might entail her journey to California though there are many other characters she is sort of the most relied on and worthy I suppose of being the main character than the rest of the rest of the group, though that may change, any way plan on posting some more stuff tomorrow.
