Grateful I'm reading The Jigsaw Man at the moment and it's strangely uplifting... For anyone who doesn't know of it, it's the story of a real-#life psychological profiler on awful police cases like rapes, murders, etc.). I got to the part about the dreaded Bulger case this evening (I hadn't realised he'd worked on that case, so wasn't expecting it - not what I really wanted in my head before sleep!) and had to skip over several pages with all the horrific details - it was way too much to take in, even for me... The short of it is though, that the uplifting part comes from the re-affirmation of what I have in my #life to be grateful for, despite anything I am currently finding difficult to deal with. 1. I have a husband who works very hard and Never gives up. He can drive me bonkers at times, but I know that on him, I can Always depend. 2. Despite some day to day issues, I have two healthy and beautiful little boys. I love them beyond anything I could describe. They are amazing (even though they drive me insane and I rarely get a break). So, there it is. Love really is all I need, because I can't seem to think of anything else right now that I am more grateful for than this. Although........ I would truly be grateful for some sleep right now too!
