The Thinking Wells Keeper And as he dwelled and delved deeper Inside the walls of the thinking well's keeper He begged as he lost his tred Nail marks scraped, as his resistance began to fade, further into the darkness, realising his fate fast paced, sealed with a deafening squeal, he had missed his chance to chose his last meal And now, as there is nothing left, he submits to his death, as he accepts the end of his living #life's test. ©Terri-Ann Sherwood 2013
