The Keepers Chapter One: Maxis POV I woke up to screaming and quickly peered out the window. Just a girl. Just a little girl. She was bruised and at gunpoint. It was a bug. Bugs are the enemy of the keepers. The bugs are a huge troop working for a man named Asylum. Asylum wanted to kill the main keepers and take our powers and use them for his dirty business. My blue eyes turned yellow and I opened the palm of my hand and a little flame flickered then grew into a ball of fire. I raised my hand higher and let the fire out of palms and burned the bug holding the gun. The little girl crawled out of sight and soon I couldn't see her at all. My eyes turned back to blue and I woke up everyone else and they got ready for another day in hell. We marched outside and to the Keepers Arena. The Keepers Arena is where the people with abilities go to practice and develop there powers to make us stronger. My power is fire, Caroline is greenery, Blossom's is water, Damian's is weather, and Tyson's is blood. We walked in and sat down and were handed different things. I was handed ice and melted it quickly just by pricking it with a spark. Practicing and practicing. At the end of the day were aloud to Rome free, but also stay away from Bugs. We sat in the town square and Blossom looked at us. "It's time." She said. "Can't we not do it today?" Damian said whining. We all shook our heads and pricked our selves causing drops of blood to spill out of our hands. We dropped the blood on the cement and our blood seeped into one drop with a snap of Tyson's fingers, our tattoo arm bands glowed then went back to normal. The blood line helps us stay together and make us stronger. We heard marching, screaming, and gun fires. The bugs. Asylums screeched across the land " YOU'LL ALL SUFFER YOU MANIACS!!!" He chuckled creepily. We quickly stood up in a circle and linking hands and stomped. Then we were in the air. The war has begun.
