Dragons and Jewels II ~The Dragons~ "Doc, I'm here!" Louise's call was followed by the shrill scream of Arielle, Doctor Ashton's assistant. Arielle approached Louise slowly, "Sorry doll, I thought you were someone else…" she said gingerly as she placed a hand on Louise's shoulder. "It's okay Arielle, so what kinds of dragons do you have today?" Louise asked walking towards Doctor Ashton. "I apologize, Louise. All the starter jewels have been stolen… Alas I only have the rare dragons left." Ashton explained, sorrow lining his expression. "That's fine! I'll take two of the rare dragons." Louise said cheerfully. Ashton's gaze shifted towards Louise in shock. "Darling, you don't understand. Rare dragons are extremely hard to tame. Some of the Elders can't even do it." "Yeah," Louise started, "cause they're elderly. It's in the name Doc, now show me what you got." She demanded, gesturing towards the cabinets. Ashton sighed and opened the padded, file cabinet drawer exposing the jewels. The first second he opened the drawer the color of the jewels were dull and #lifeless, until of course they were exposed to Louise's aura their color became bright and vibrant. Jewels are always about the size of young trainer's hand. The color depends on the breed of dragon. "Okay, we have the magic dragon, which is rare neutral," Ashton started gesturing towards the purple colored jewel, "the ice dragon, rare," he continued, gesturing towards the icy blue colored jewel, "the dimension dragon, neutral extreme rare," he eyed the amber colored jewel, "and of course the shadow dragon, extreme rare. I also saved you a water dragon, so you must take that one…" he opened the bottom drawer and took out a bright blue jewel and handed it to her. "Now choose a dragon darling, and be careful with it…" Louise looked at the jewels as her eyebrows began to furrow. "I'll give you some time." And so Ashton left the area to return to his work as Louise made her decision. The young trainer touched the magic dragon and it made a soft musical note which made Louise smile happily. She touched the ice dragon warily and it made a higher, stiffer note and brought a chill to her finger. Her hand, hesitantly, touched the dimension dragon which played two soft notes as the form of the jewel shifted into a different form. She stared with awkwardness in her eyes at the shadow dragon whose jewel was a raven black that seemed to poke at your soul. She touched it cautiously and it played a series of low notes as darkness extended from the jewel. She pulled her hand away quickly and the dark shadows retreated as well. Louise turned to Ashton with a concerned expression. "Doc… I'd like all of them please."
