that girl that girl is gone. she no longer roams the halls hoping for love. her smooth exterior is now rough and jagged. she is not who they think. she doesn't even know who she is anymore. she's new. good or bad, the old her has made it's mark and left. he disapproves of the change. he still loves her though. she can do no wrong in his eyes, a curse and a blessing. he loves her, he told her, through tear clogged eyes. she told him, but cried through the night. their love is difficult, but the harder it gets, the more value it has. they love that. but she has changed, for the better or for the worse; that is unknown. she does not want to be without him. she needs him, needs his touch and embrace, needs his love. and he gives her an embrace, the kind that says "baby, I've missed you." the kind of embrace only he has. the hug only be can give, the kiss they share. the love they need. that girl, is the one he wants. the one who's mother and father love her. the one whose grandparents think she's having a teenage crisis, when all she needs is sleep. to be left alone, undisturbed. that girl, is the one no one knows how to deal with. 7/9/13 -emily k
