Getting old Oh I do think that I'm getting old I hate going out in the cold There's a pain in my back And it's starting to crack Oh I do think that I'm getting old. Now my knees ain't good any more They crack and I fall on the floor It's not very handy ,I'm starting to go bandy Oh I do think that I'm getting old. The pain is now in my hips It's starting to get on my tits But at least I don't care Cos I got a big pair Oh the pain is now in my hips Now my bowels are starting to go And I wear this big nappy you no I don't have much luck Cos I walk like a duck Now my bowels has started to go Now I'm fat and I do like to eat I look down and I can't see my feet I don't think it's fair Cos I'm stuck in my chair Now I'm fat and I do like to eat Now I don't let this get me down I still have to go into town I crack, and I fart But I still have a laugh No I don't let this get me down Now I don't mind getting old I sit in the warm, not the cold I sit watching telly With my best friend Terry Now I don't mind getting old. #poem by Annette Maggs
