Opposites attract - One so light and one so gray One of night and one of day One with wings of colours so bright The other flutters with shades of moonlight One dark like the depths of the ocean blue The other shines like the sun in a morning so new One causes laughter and joyfull glee The other somber thoughts that make you flee Like a moth and butterfly they have nothing the same But opposites attract or at least that's what they claim I can't - I can't wink I don't know why Please don't ask me I'm very shy Instead I do a 'one eyed squint' Which doesn't help When giving a hint In wink murder I always fail And after getting caught I have to bale When telling a lie It always goes wrong People don't get I want them to play along Another problem Of my winkless state Is that I can't Communicate I can't encourage Or joke or tease Without making sounds Like a choke or sneeze So I guess I'll settle with a blink Unless of course...
