This is the prologue of my new book called: The Run Prologue Run, that is all that was running through my head, was to run like hell to the nearest house or building. I could not really remember what I was running from but I knew I had to run. I started gasping for air and could not breathe. I had to stop and sit under a tree and I waited till I caught my breathe. I tried to remember what happened, but before I did I heard a crunch of the leaves on the ground that wasn't far from where i was. I knew whatever I was running from was near and dangerous. "Alice, where are you? I won't hurt you," this stranger said. How does he know my name, how come I cannot remember what happened before this. I got up and started to climb the tree, I stayed there for about 10 minutes. It was pitch black and I could barely see anything, but a bright light was shining under me. I had to look, but when I did I saw him and all the memories came back. I looked down at myself only wearing lingerie, I had cuts all over my body and cuts around my wrist which was because I was probably handcuffed. I remember everything, and I needed to get out of here.
