Bloom Chapter 3 I tell Kayla what happened starting from When school ended. "Ok. Julie go to my room please. Its the first door on your right when you get to the top of the stairs." Kayla says. Julie obeys and heads upstairs. " ERIC!! Get over here NOW." Kayla yells. In no time at all Eric is in the room with us. They begin whispering to each other. They sound frustrated. Eventually Kayla turns to me. "Natia why dont you go sit on the couch and ill go talk to Julie." Kayla says. I go sit on the couch and wait. I sit there for about 20 minutes before Kayla comes back. When she comes up to me Julie is with her. Julie is smiling and looks perfectly fine. "Julie can you give me a second with my sis?" Kayla asks. "Sure." She replies. Kayla comes over to me and begins whispering. "She doesnt remember anything about what just happened so just dont bring it up K? She thinks you guys just came here to hang out so im going to take her home. Once i get back well talk." She said. Before i have a chance to say anything she is out the door with Julie. I begin thinking. I cant believe what i just wittnessed. Am i loosing myu mind? I cant be because Julie saw it too. What did Kayla mean she doesnt remember? As i get lost in my train of thought Kayla gets back. She takes my hand and drags me up to her room. She plops me down on her bed and began pacing around the room. "Do you have any idea what happened out there? Did mom ever tell you anything?" Kayla questioned. "Well no mom never told me anything but i did research on my laptop on the way home from school yesterday and i think i know. Well its actually kind of a story. Angela called me a Varilist so i looked it up. Then i searched enimies of a Varilist and i found a Sveton which matched how Angela looked when she got mad at me at school. And i have a feeling shes a Sveton and her last name is Sve so it matches and I have a good feeling Daniel is a Skinge." I told her quietly. "Well everything you read was correct. You are a Varilist. Now i know its weird but its true." Kayla told me. "So, what, im a magical fairy vampire then? Am i gunna like sprout wings and grow fangs then fly off to magical fairy land?" I yell at her. "well kinda. Your fangs are going to come in soon. Im surprised they havent yet. And you will eventually bloom. But when that happens, well, its impossible to predict when it will happen." She quietly said back. "Bloom? What do you mean bloom? That makes no sense." I say irretated. "Look. Natia. I promise ill tell you more but i cant right now. I have to go discuss some things with your brother. Ill be back in a few hours but promise me you wont let anyone in the house. And i mean it. Lock all the doors and windows. I just want you to be safe." Kayla says quietly. She walks out of the room and gets Eric. Before i can ask where they are going they are already out the door. I watch them go and even though im mad at Kayla for not telling me more i do as she told me and lock every door and window. Its only 2:47 but I have a good feeling ill be alone for a long time. To pass time i take a nap on the couch. I wake up around 4:13 to the sound of my cell phone buzzing. I pick it up and its a text from Daniel. It says, *Can We Talk?* I instantly reply, *About what? I know enough already.* It takes him a few minutes to reply but eventually he says, *I know. And im sorry. Can I please just have a moment to talk to you. I swear i would never hurt you.* *Where are you now?* i ask. *Standing outside your door. Not to be a creep or anything but.....* The last part makes me laugh. I set my phone down and peek through the window. Sure enough there he is sitting on the door step I walk to the door and taking a deep breath i unlock the door. I slowly open the door leaving the screen door locked. He immediatly stands up at the sound of the door opening. He turns to face me and i can see he has several cuts accross his face and arms. Hes bleeding really bad and his eyes look sad. I stay quiet at the door. We stand there in silence staring at each other for a while. Finally he breaks the silence. "Look im very sorry. I just lost control for a minute and Angela needed to be taught a lesson. I know all of this is crazy to you but you better get used to it." he says. I stand there quietly and i dont respond. He gets a bit frustrated and pushes his hand through his hair. "This is all my fault. You probably never want to speak to me again. Its all my fault. This happens with everyone i meet." he says pacing back and forth. "Its not your fault and your wrong. Of course ill still want to talk to you. Your my friend. Im just a little mad that you did that in front of me and Julie. Mainly Julie." I say. He stops pacing and looks at me. We stare at each other for a few minutes. After a few minutes of quite stares he says, "Can i come in?" "Daniel i dont know. My sister would freak and Im still not sure i can trust you," i tell him. "Natia, i would never hurt you. I swear." He says as his sexy blue eyes meet mine again. "Ok. But just in case you try to even touch me ill just let you know 1 thing. I have a knife attached to my belt loop and since were going to be in the living room, a pistol stashed in the couch. Loaded and ready," I say showing him the knife. Slowly i let my fingers rest on the lock. I take a deep breath and slowly unlock the door. "Come in." I say as i open the door.
