Silent Steps Pt 2 I leapt to the side, avoiding the wolf but bruising my ribs on a rotten table. I clenched my side, but stood up quickly, as I knew the wolf wouldn't give up. I was right. The wolf snarled, and snapped at my legs as I stumbled through the open archway that once held the front door. I felt teeth tear into my ankle, and pain shot through my body, I screamed and reached for something. ANYTHING! I found a small log, roughly the size of a baseball bat, and groped at it. I turned my body, and whacked the wolf in the eye. It howled and fell back. I scrambled up, and limped away as fast as I could without my lungs feeling like iron, or my leg burning. I limped for hours, with no sign of the wolf. I found another town, this time not deserted. I staggered to the streets, were screams were in my ears. A young boy ran over to me, "Mum! This woman is hurt!" He cried over his shoulders. "Oh my goodness!" A woman ran over, and called for help. The next thing I knew was that arms carried me to a small room, which smelt like a doctors. My eyes felt like lead when they opened. I sat up and instantly collapsed, gasping for breath. "Hey there. Take it easy." A man in a white coat stood over me. I gazed around the room, and noticed that it was not the same room I had been taken to. It was all white, hardly any furniture, with heavy iron doors. I also noticed I was strapped to the bed, in silver chains. To Be Continued... #werewolf
