AJ Prescott - The Demigod From Hell (PJ Story) 1 - math compasses are dangerous I stared at the filled up whiteboard full of words that meant nothing to me. Just science, I thought as Mrs.Galloway walked around the classroom, looking at everyone's work. "AJ Prescott, come with me!" Miss ordered me. "Ummm.....ok?" I answered back while the whole class looked at us. "Oooo been naughty have you AJ - hahaha?" Carly (also known as the most annoying person on the planet) said to me. "Oh shut up, Carly!" "Now miss Prescott!" Mrs.Galloway practically demanded. "You need to go to your real home" she said. "I already have a home though." "You're real home!" "Like I said I have a 'real' home." And I was right; I was perfectly fine with my mum - I didn't need anyone else! It was all very weird so far however then it got even weirder! Mrs.Galloway suddenly transformed into a disgusting creature - with nails as long as the heels of my mums 7inch shoes, skin as scaly as a Komodo dragon and wings the size of the classroom - all in all, she was petrifying! "Mrs.Galloway???" I questioned. "Come on little girl - time to come home!" " I'm 12 - I'm not exactly little now am I?" And with that I swung my bag, aiming at her disgusting head, and hit her square in the face. She then suddenly burst into ashes; leaving a little pile on the floor! "What the.........?" I said, very confused. "AJ!" Kendall (my best friend) shouted. "Did you have anything sharp in your bag?" He asked. "Ummmmm no, well except for that maths compass thing that you gave me for Christmas. Why exactly?" "Oh gods! Oh no you need to come with me! Like right now!" Moreover he grapped my arm and steered me to the exit. 2 - Kendall thinks that I'm guliable "What is going on? Where are you taking me? What the hell was she? Hello, Kendall, can you hear me?!?!?" "What? Hmm..Oh sure yeah funny story actually-" "Kendall!" I shouted sternly. "Ok, OK! Well you know those Greek myths that you love so much?-" "Yeah" I interrupted. "Well remember those stories about demigods and stuff, well you're one." He explained while wincing as if I was going to punch him. I tried to talk but nothing came out. My mouth was dry; palms sweaty; my anger building up. "What do you mean 'you're one of them'? Hmmmm Kendall stop joking, tell me the truth." "I did, you're a demigod, a half-blood. Half human, half god. You're dyslexic because your mind is trained to read Greek, you have ADHD because your anger makes you amazing in battle. Don't you see, it all adds up!" "B-but no......I can't be!" And with that I stormed off to my house. Me, a demigod? As if, I thought as I made my way home. 3 - Cows are now my least favourite animal "Hey mum!" I shouted as I made my way into our small but cosy house. "Mum?!?" I shouted wondering where she was and how she didn't answer my holler - that's a weird word, holler - I thought. "I'm coming, you don't need to shout!" She said down the stairs; moreover hugging me. "How was school? Science still boring?" She asked. "Science is and has always been boring - but something else weird happened today, with Mrs. Galloway-." "What happened? Tell me in specifics!" Mum said in the stern voice that Mrs.Galloway always talked in. "Umm,well she told me that she needed to talk to me, then she said 'I needed to go home' and then she became this weird scaly creature; then I swung my bag to her head and she fell into ashes." After I told my mum the story she looked ashen and grey. She looked worried, her hands were shaking and were sweaty. BANG! BANG! BANG! The doorbell suddenly rang a few times until I ran up to it and opened it revealing Kendall standing there and sweating. "Hello AJ, Miranda [my mum],umm no time to talk - Miranda, has she told you about what happened?" "Yes, should we go now?" "I'd say so, let's go!" I looked at my mum and then at Kendall; what's going on? Where are we going? I thought as my mum pulled me out the door and made me go in the car....... "Hey! Hey! Where are we going? Mum! Kendall?" They both said nothing, now that was especially weird. Authors note - sorry I haven't been on, I've been really busy.
