Remember The Soldiers I know this is a remembrance #poem but I wrote it last year and I want to share it with everyone. I got third in a #poem competition. Remember the men and women Everyday fighting for us Mines blowing upmarket Even guns going off Many casualties Bombs bursting Enemies attacking Running for cover The tanks come towards them Hiding in trenches so they won't get shot Everyone hoping to survive Soldiers falling Over and over Living out their last moments Dying so fast, not feeling the pain In and out of trenches day and night Even though they are over there, really they are by our side Remembrance Day ceremonies remember the fallen Soldiers will always be with you......
