Son Of God: 1 Male Voice over: when Jesus left the planet, he promised that he would come back in an hour of need.(during this, actors act out what is happening. Continue for 2 secs after end) VoiceOver: From then the world began to advance. (Start fast forward of world advance) It soon reached a point in which it was at its summit of growth. Then it started to go downhill.(start fast forward decline(look realistic)) And just like when walking down a hill, it went faster down than up. (Contd. 2 secs) VoiceOver: soon, the world ran out of oil, coal and other vital resources. Water was polluted and the air became almost unbreathable. This was not helped by the fact that the majority of trees were cut down. Agents of Satan walked the earth. In order to slow the proses, scientists decided to turn the earth once again primitive. One by one, the lights on earth went out(far away footage of the earth going dark). VoiceOver: My Son is needed, (pause) now (picture fades out)(picture of opening of clouds and angel swooping down, and into an open window. (Woman inside is startled) Angel: Do not be afraid, for I am Gabriel the III, and I am an agent of God. You shall bear his second child and shall call him Jesus Christ once again... (Picture fades out for 2 secs and birds start tweeting, then a cough, and silence. A School-ground is revealed. Dense clouds in the sky and no crops. No children outside.) (Inside school) Boy: I will turn this water... Into WINE(to crowd)!!! (Crowd cheers) 5... 4...3...(crowd get into it) 2...1...(lights go out) Crowd:eeeeek!!!aaaaaah!!! (Lights back on. In waters place is wine) Crowd: Hey!!!!(congratulating boy) (Another boy walks past)(bell rings) (Camera follows other boy) (As camera leaves first place, first boy gets high fives) (Possible actor for 2nd boy: Actor of Diary of a Wimpy Kid) (Leaves school building) (Walks home) (Walks through door) Boy:Hey Mum. Mum:Oh... Hi JC Boy: This boy turned water into wine today Mum:he did, did he? Boy: he could be Jesus Mum: no he couldn't Boy: why not? Mum: Jesus would keep it to himself Boy: Really? Mum: Yes Boy: then you probably don't realise how much pressure us kids get at school to be cool these days. Mum; Jesus still wouldn't want to reveal himself yet Boy: why not? I mean, when Christ left the planet, he did say he would come back when we really needed him, that could be now. Mummumbling) I think it is... Boy:What did you say? Mum: oh... Nothing, but, HEY isn't it Dads birthday tommorow? Boydisappointed) oh... Right...um...maybe... Mum: You should prepare before he gets home- wait, what did you say? Boy: "Maybe"... It's just that I feel like I have a different father. Mother? Mum: yes? Boyid you remarry? Mum: NO!!!!!!!!!(starts crying) Boy:sorry, mum Mum: (blows nose) it's okay. Your Father, Joe, is YOUR father, not anyone else's, yours. Boy: Sorry, mum Mum: it's okay, JC, it's okay. (End scene)(black screen) (Image of family sitting around a table fade in) Boy and Mum: (singing) ...Happy birthday to... YOUUUU... Boy: Happy Birthday Dad Mum: Happy Birthday Joe Dad: thank you JC, thank you Marie. Boy: Your welcome(grinning) (All laugh) Boy: c'mon dad, blow out the candles. Mum: yeah, Joe, blow them out (Dad takes breath in to blow, boy blows) (Candles go out) (All laugh) (Eat cake in silence) (Boy eats quickly) (Doorbell rings 2secs after he has finished) Boy:I'll get it (Goes and opens door) (2secs later, 10 boys enter) Mum: (startled) JC, what is this? (JC enters sheepishly) JC: weeell... It is a party, isn't it? Mum: uh-huh JC: so, well,um... I took the liberty of inviting some people to help give it an atmosphere... Your Welcome. Mum:well, if you do that, I may have to invite a few friends aswell.(grinning) Dad: come in, this was a private party, but if you insist on turning it public... (Some male parents come in) Dad: Now, the only thing that would make the day would be a nice cup of wine, instead of this... Water Rest of adults: Aye JC:I wish it would (Adults look at him strangely, adult 1 drinks a glass and splutters) Adult 1: it IS wine! (One bends down and looks at his glass) Adult 2: why, it's gone red... (Rest of glasses start shaking and table shakes, the begin to turn blood red) (Silence) Dad: oh, yes... I bought some, er, water-looking-but-is-actually-wine-and-starts-to-look-like-it-later wine. HA-HA!! (Adults all laugh and continue) (Camera zooms in on JC) (Voice inside his head) Voice: GO TO THE TEMPLE AND MEET ME JC: yes, father (JC gets some boys to follow him and they leave, adults don't notice) (Picture fade out) (Sign saying: 3 hrs later) (Party finishing)m Mum: where's JC!!! Other mums: where's my son!!! (They frantically look around the village) (When the get back, exhausted, the look tired and panicked) (Boys walk into house) (Mothers rush over and make sure they are okay) Mum: Where did you go? JC: the temple (Mum has sharp intake of breath) JC: and yes, I know who I really am. I met him JC: I am the son if GOD!!! (Sound effect of thunder and and fade out, End of scene) (Fade in picture of above the clouds) God: Gabriel, now he knows who he is, you must look out for him, be his guardian Gabriel: yes, Lord God: Soon other, darker forces shall know and it will end the peacetime.
