Gold search : the journey to wealthy ness Theo went through what no teenager has ever been through. He witnessed murders , blood bathes and worse. He's been getting nightmares that are disturbing him as he is asleep. On a Friday morning Theo woke from a nightmare , he went to the bathroom quietly afraid to wake up his parents or sister . He opened the bathroom door quickly , he went in and closed the door. He looked in the mirror deeply . All he saw was a teenager that ruined his #life , he now regrets getting in all this trouble with the kidnappers and his cousin William Carlob . He returned to his room . He thought about the map , the map Dr.Spous gave him , it turns out to be a treasure map. The police wouldn't leave Theo alone , there were two trials , one for the first kidnapper, Jack Bollis also known as Mr.B , and the second one , Darren Nyles also known as the pushing guy. Theo went to school later that Friday , he doesn't have that much friends , one of these very few friends is Kevin Martin , a year younger than Theo. He is a very quiet person it's actually weird way how they met . Theo was washing his hands after art class on the first day of school , there was a long line in the bathroom . Kevin was the last one. Theo went over to him "hey"."hey" responded Kevin . " so tell me what's your name ?" Asked Theo. " I'm Kevin " " I'm Theodore, but you can call me Theo" said Theo. Then some bunch of bullies started throwing paint brushes at them . Theo always writes whatever happens in his day in very tiny journal . He is writing everything that happened when he was kidnaped . Today he came across his cousin when he came back home . He haven't heard from his cousin William since Christmas . They didn't say anything to each other which was weird . As Theo returned home he recognised that there were some boxes , cardboard boxes around the house. He came across his mom running through the hallway . " mom , what's going on?" He asked ,his mom stopped and turned towards him " hey sweetie , what do you think of Chicago ?" Theo's eyes were wide open also his mouth . If they leave Minnesota then he can't find the gold .he can't just give the map to the police " Your dad's new job is a good job in Chicago , and he needs a better job , and also we'll have a bigger house and a better #life and you can go to a better school " explained his mom ." But I'm fine here " he said , " it's not all about you only ,it's about the whole family , I need to change places ,your dad needs a new job , and your sister well you know your sister" she said . " now go pack your things " his mom went upstairs ,he stayed downstairs still taking in what just happened . He went upstairs to his room , as he went inside he could see many cardboard boxes labeled by different names 'books','bed sheets','electronics' and 'other' . He took out the map out of the drawer next to his bed , he decided to leave all this behind and move on in his #life so went to his dad's cupboard and took out a lighter , he clicked the lighter and started burning the paper, he put it down on a table and watched burn down slowly in flames Theo took the ashes and threw it in the garbage ,he had bad feelings about doing this ,Dr.Spous gave him this as he was the only person he trusted and now he dumped it all down the trash can. Theo went back to his room and started packing his thing , first , the books then all the other stuff. Theo went outside after packing his stuff, He sat down on the grass on the front loan of his house . he spotted William and his parents from far away walking towards the house. He stood up . William and his parents said hello to Theo and went inside , Theo joined them . They talked about where they're moving and why. But the look on William's face kept Theo thinking , he hasn't said anything since he came in .as William's parents were about to leave, William came up to Theo and said " give me the map ". " I got rid of it " responsed Theo . "what ?why?" William was now angry and mad . " we have to forget it , I did ,are you?". William looked fiercely into Theo's eyes and left with his parents. Theo is confused of why would William want the map after he wanted to rip it apart after they got it back. Everything was ready and the Carlob's were ready to leave to Chicago .Theo's dad is going to be a art studies section manager in some college in Chicago . Theo is going to the Chicago high school . They went by car , a Chrysler was his dad's car , very old and uncomfortable . His mom was very happy and excited. " ok everybody , buckle up , your going to love Chicago ". They started their drive to Chicago ,it will be a long drive but Theo still didn't like this trip , He thought it had no meaning to go all the way to Chicago for some Job . He thought about how make friends in his new school, he is worried about that. He sat beside his sister in the car , he kept looking out the window , he looked at the trees , he remembered the factory , suddenly he saw a sign pointing left written on it Chicago . " dad, you missed the turn " declared Theo . " we're not going to Chicago ... Yet "explained his dad. Theo did not understand what's going on. They kept driving straight for a few hours ,the sun just started going down and his dad kept on driving , around four o'clock his dad stopped next to a big building , " Come on Theo " said his dad . Theo got out of the car , It was Cornworth woodwork , where Theo and William were left alone by the kidnappers , suddenly Lewton and his wife came out the building , his dad went over to him and shook his hand, Theo joined them . " I never got the chance to say thank you for helping my son , so ... Thank you " said Theo's dad . " any time , now ... Where is the other boy what's his name ?... William " said Lewton . " William is back Minnesota and we are moving to Chicago " .. Said Theo's dad , " this our new home " said Lewton , " we'll turn this wreck to a fancy castle " explained Lewton . "Great ... we'll see you soon " Theo's dad said . They returned to the car and drove away towards Chicago .
