Faithful Minds The teacher slammed the stack of books on the edge of the desk, causing a thumping book to echo through the room. It was just her and the desk and a stack of books. Of course I was there. But I am nothing. I shall better be seen. *re-appears* The school books have overlooked (like always). I dash through the empty room only to reach...a wall. I'll just break, of course. Most people would just sit there and say "oh no, a dead end" , but they are wimps. Me? Oh no brother, oh NO. *drills the wall* The wall is going from stage eleven to stage ten! The polish wall shows the inner rock. Very painful, I must add. The lift my foot up, careful not to let the pieces of rubble cause a bruise. My so-called girlfriend told me to wear shorts, and apparently she isn't my mum but believe me, I wouldn't listen to my mum either . So I walk ahead and ahead through the dark, closed, loooong room. I heard creeks and they got louder and louder. To be continued.... Anyways, while I stoop ahead, I hear a voice. Behind the walls... *jumps* "begone! Witches all gone today. Thy hast betrayed my humble souls" I snorted. So I screamed. And then I stopped. I listened to the echo that was pulsed by all that noise. I heard no echo. *lifts a club* *tried to lift a club I was hopeless, I and got nowhere. Well maybe just a few decametres but....I can still see the rubble behind me. And then simply out of nowhere and yes it was literally nowhere, a silhouette appears in the distance. It looked robust, and also slightly friendly. I felt it. I knew I was to do something. In story books, the wimpy character always hides. Certainly not me. I won't even shout and run to him, I'll run and trip. Yes, trip. *falls* Falling isn't a synonym of trip. Trip isn't a synonym of trips either. I fell at least 30 centimetres below. Nothing much, so I could pull my self up. The dark can blind me. But the sound scared the weird silhouette guy. I guess tripping wouldn't reach my goal. So I sit there in the dark and think as to why I even came here. But I am faithful to myself. And this is no time to stop. *pulls self up* I should like those guys in the stories. The corny stand up and look. But being a faithful person I won't humiliate myself. Suddenly, from the corner of the right eye, my eye caught the most eye-catching thing of all. Light. Bright light that beam like the sun. Behind it I see myself. A replica of me in ice. Stiff. Frozen. The surrounding started cooling. The air had creaked. I felt my body shrink. I stood there, awoken in my bed. I was at home. *hears the school bell* It was school morning, I must have dreamt it up. As I walk to school, shoving brisk autumn leaves off my path with the edge of my shoe, I looked at the forest at the front. I noticed a figure moving through. The same one. I chased it after I dropped my bag, in the middle of the road. *accelerates* The chase was intense. The chase seemed to repeat. Same trees. Again and again. Suddenly I felt my body shrink and my breath freeze. I was back at the middle of the road. And a car Speeding at me. As much as I hate to say it, too be continued...
