The big brick wall The brick wall stood for years and years Pressure building in it's bricks The cement that held it together, Was looking for a fix And passers by they looked at it, They said, my, what a wall! It's so red and strong and beautiful, And it stands so very tall! I wonder how this wall has stood, For years and years and years It never once has fallen down This brick wall, it has no fears! And the brick wall stood and cried all night Because nobody could see He's made of bricks, he's not that strong He wasn't all he's meant to be Days went by and soon the truth Was bursting at the seams One brick fell off, and then one more And the brick wall screamed some screams! The whole wall collapsed onto the floor And people stopped and stared "I'm cement and bricks and I need fixed, Sometimes I need repaired! I stand so tall but I'm not all That I may well appear I'm a brick wall and I stand tall But still I'm plagued with fear."
