Result!! I just successfully followed someone. Still feels rather odd - how "normal" is it to follow someone you don't know!? It's like those random friend requests on Facebook where strange men (and once a random woman, who although pretty, had a FILTHY mouth) declare their undying love based on a picture and then accuse you of breaking their heart because you do not give them your phone number!? Tim Minchin was sadly not in Crouch End Starbucks this morning, however he is on the SouthBank show tonight so I've charmed my father into recording it to the idiot box for me :-) re-reading that last sentence I worry that people think I really am stalking Tim Minchin, I'm not, I just happened to find myself in Crouch End, I'm not actively looking for him. In the event he was there, I wouldn't even speak to him, what does one say to a famous person?? "Oh I just like so totally love your stuff" (I don't actually talk like that) but PPFFTT!! Anything that you say would be pathetic. So in the event I saw him, I'd just smile, carry on walking and then when I'm sure no one can see me, I'd laugh maniacally and do the "happy dance". Still not sure as to the point of Opuss, but in hindsight, what is the point in Facebook?? Scrolling through other people's stories and pictures, living vicariously through their exploits. It's a way to keep in touch, I'm told, but I have a phone, if I'm so important to you, call or text!! Which would explain why my phone is silent.... Nice!! So, I'll post random rubbish here because the only person I've spoken to today is my dog (couldn't leave the house, had some bad lentils - over-share much!?) I'm supposed to pick my books up to distribute for World Book Night, tomorrow, but I'm also test driving the Evoque :-) can't afford it, so I'll settle for taking it out, showing it a good time and then dismissing it for the, Aston Martin V12 :-) CAR PORN!! Then crawl home and play "Cryin' like a Bitch!!' as loud as I can before someone complains. Damn my #life is exciting. xTx

Yes, This Is Happening To You.... In a somewhat (possibly) misguided attempt at extracting myself from painful memories (and damn nosey people!!) I have forced a self imposed Facebook exile upon my (not so) good person. So here I am, writing random rubbish because I miss posting on Facebook, however I'm slightly confused. Following people!? I'm not in the habit of stalking, unless you are Michael Bolton or Tim Minchin - 'tis true, sadly I quite often mosey (fabulous word - not sure i have have the correct gait for moseying but I try.) down to Crouch End Starbucks on the off chance Tim Minchin wanders in. At which point I plan to inhale sharply and then stare at the table or my feet until he is gone. I digress, I had a point, I did, I think. Oh PANTS. Slightly confused about the following strangers thing and have just noticed the wee Facebook icon at the top of the page. There is evil afoot. AWAY!! xTx
