I struggle on a regular basis with trying to figure out who I am and what I want to be. As I watch my beloved mother be torn away from me from Alzheimer's I decided it wasn't too late to take hold of the life she and I had always talked about, the dreams we had discussed when I was a little girl at the dining room table asking her how to spell the words to the stories I wanted to write. She taught me everything and I just hope one day to dedicate my first book to her, since above everything, she taught me to keep moving forward.
