Phone Cover iOS users. Do you have a cover on your phone or not? It appears there are two opinions on this. One is that it would be really bad if anything happened to your phone so it's best to put a cover on it. The other is that the iPhone is so beautiful that putting a cover on it would interfere with your enjoyment of such an aesthetically pleasing device. If you have the latter opinion let me put this to you. The human body is a beautiful design. When leaving the house most of us opt to wear clothes for many reasons. One of those reasons is that they protect us from the elements. If someone was going to carry me around in their pocket all day the least I would expect of them would be to provide me with a protective helmet, knee and elbow pads and maybe some goggles so I don't get fluff in my eyes.

Monday In Five Parts (Part Five) He made a wish! During his lunch break he wished that he was up to date with his work and the wish came true. From that day on until his retirement if he got a bit disorganised in the office he simply wished away his workload and everything would be under control again. He could have used this magical power to achieve anything but he decided to keep it to himself for the remainder of his working #life and this way he could ensure that the bills would get paid and he would get a decent pension when he retired.

Monday In Five Parts (Part Four) At 2pm he nervously went over to his line managers desk. She asked how things were going. He lied and said everything was under control when he knew that he was behind with everything and had loads to do. Then she indicated that she was very impressed with his recent performance and as he was the most efficient and organised member of staff she had a task that she only felt comfortable offering to him to do. This was a bit confusing but he gratefully accepted the extra work and went back to his desk knowing that now he had at least twice as much work to do. What a mess. What did she mean when she described him as the most efficient and organised? This was clearly untrue. Then he unlocked his PC. His inbox was clear. At first he panicked. Then he checked his folders. Everything was up to date. He was completely up to speed with everything. This is what his line manager was referring to. How was this possible?

Monday In Five Parts (Part Three) By lunchtime the humongous amount of admin tasks that he had been presented with that morning had been organised to the point that they would be achievable by the end of the day. Well that's the way things should have gone. Most of the morning was actually spent chatting with the rest of the team. They exchanged stories about how 'wrecked' they got at the weekend. Whilst eating his soggy sandwiches in the canteen he decided that he better 'pull his finger out' this afternoon. Then his line manager popped her head round the door and said "Can you pop over to my desk after your lunch, it's ok, nothing to worry about."

Monday In Five Parts (Part Two) There was no coffee left in the office kitchen. This meant that he would have to go 'on the scrounge'. Firstly he approached the accounts team but they didn't have any either. "Has anyone got any coffee I could scav?" he asked the team on the bank of desks next to him but the response was a few blank faces and a few shaking heads. Finally he tried the IT department. This was his lucky day. They had some coffee. "#lifesaver" he exclaimed and headed back to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. Then he returned the #life saving jar back to the IT department before getting back to his desk in order to take on a mountain of work.
