Axel Sprinter This story is not yet finished. I will be trying to update it on a regular bases. Thank you CHAPTER 1: A boy stood alone on top of a tall grassy hill, gazing at the green field below him. He loved it here. He liked they way the warm spring breeze blew through his dark hair, ad how the grass felt beneath his bare feet. It was so peaceful here. He often came here to think. It was his special spot. Nobody els knew about it. He noticed the sun was starting to set. 'I better get back to the orphanage before it gets to dark' he sighed. He walked down the hill and across the grassy field back towards the small stone orphanage. The boys name is Axel Sprinter. Dark black hair, and bright blue eyes. He is 14 years old, Almost 15. But unlike most the boys in the orphanage, he isn't loud, or obnoxious. He is more of the quiet type. Keeps to himself most the time. Axel climbed up a stone wall and jumped over to the other side into the large orphanage back yard. He had gotten quiet good at doing that from years years of practice of sneaking to his secret spot on top of the hill behind the orphanage. He then walked into the orphanage through the back door, through the kitchens, where he caught a waft of dinner cooking, climbed the stairs, and went into the boys bedrooms. A boy named Dakota Grant ( who is around the same age as Axel) came up to him and said "Hey Axel! Where have you been all day? I have been wanting to show you my bug collection! I have over 100 different types now! Do you want to see?" " umm sure Dakota be right there " Axel said. Dakota Grant has short blond hair, and glasses. He is proboby one of the smartest kids on the whole orphanage. If you need help with your math, thats the guy to go to. He took off his green wind breaker and threw it onto his bed, and walked over to Dakota as he started to pull out a long flat box from under his bed. Suddenly a loud ring came from the hall. " Dinners ready. I will have to look at your collection some other time Dakota " said Axel. He felt relieved. He really didn't want to stare at a bunch of bugs pinned to a bored while Dakota lectured about how each bug has it's own special markings and things like that. After dinner, Axel climbed the stairs to the bedrooms feeling stuffed and sleepy. He flopped down on his bed, and sleepily pulled the covers over himself, falling asleep almost instantly. After all, tomorrow was his 15th Birthday. CHAPTER 2: Axel woke up early the next morning hoping to go to his secret spot on to of the hill for a while before breakfast. After all, he wanted this day to be special. And going there alwase brightens his mood. He got up, took a quick shower, dressed, and walked out the boys bedroom quietly. Everyone els was still asleap. He checked his watch. It said 6:30am. He silently tip toed down the stairs, carefully avoiding the third step down for he knew it creaked loudly. He walked quietly through the hallway, and into the kitchen, when he suddenly heard footsteps coming down the hall. Axel quickly ducked behind the counter out of sight. Ms. Bennett, the cook and house keeper of the orphanage, came in, in slippers and a bathrobe, and sleepily turned on the coffee pot. Then she walked back out of the kitchen. Axel stood up slowly, making sure the coast was clear. He quickly snatched up a biscuit from the counter, and quietly went out the back door. He quickly ran across the yard and climbed up the stone wall holding onto rocks all the way up, and jumped off the wall to the other side.
