Forbidden Love ( Chapter 14) 30th July 12:12 pm When I got home that evening, my dad was stood at the door with his hands on his hips. He tutted and queried, " Where on earth were you?" " Well... Um... Today I went out to Warick castle with Matt." I smiled, unsure of how he was going to take it. I was then surprised by what my father said next. " Well as long as you had a good time, that's all that matters." I was shocked. I thought that I was going to get an earful. But no. Just a ' as long as you had a good time'. It was very strange. Lunch was very nice (as usual). We talked and talked. Then my happiness drained away. I was hoping that my dad wouldn't see the ring on my finger. I hid it well but sadly I forgot about it. " What's that on your finger Holly?" he asked, abruptly. His eyes lit up suddenly. He rose from his chair and stormed out of the room. My mum squealed with delight. At least she thought it was good news. I knew this was going to be tough...

Forbidden Love ( Chapter 13 ) 21st July 32 pm I went down to the kitchen and sat down on the stools by the table. The luscious smell of the pancakes and sugar wafted into my nostrils. The tv was on and the two men were shouting and yelling in unison. They were watching a football game. Manchester United vs Liverpool. When they (finally) turned to the pancakes we had a conversation of well ... see if you can guess! FOOTBALL!!!!!! I was board out of my skin until Matt asked me what we wanted to do today. He suggested a place called ' Warick Castle'. When we finished our lovely pancakes, we packed the car and drove to Warick castle. Lunch came and we went to the resteraunt. It was quiet. Too quiet. There was no one here apart from the staff. It was very suspicious. We sat down and I shut my eyes, calmly relaxing after walking a great distance of the castle grounds. Matt rummaged in his rucksack. He pulled out a box and got out of his seat. Knelt down on one knee and opened the box. My heart was beating sooo fast I thought I was going to faint. Inside the box was a silver, sparkly ring. On it was a heart with little emeralds on it. My mouth dropped. I was speechless. Then he said, " Holly, will you marry me?" his eyes sparkled like jewels. Grinning from ear to ear I replied, " Oh... I DO!!!" then we kissed. So fiery and meaningful. I was engaged!!!!!!!!

Abandoned This is an entry for the young writers household competition. Hope you like it. This was the night that all my dreams came true. Hi! I'm Hannah and I love dogs!! I've always wanted one since I was little. It all started when I was sat at the kitchen table finishing my homework off. I heard a strange whining sound. At first I thought it must have been the wind. But as it continued it sounded like a bark. I padded out of the kitchen and opened the door. I saw in front of me, a group of wolves around a small puppy that was shivering. It had various cuts on its fur but it was freezing. I shooed the wolves off and carried the furry bundle in my arms. My parents were sat by a blazing, orange fire. When they saw the bundle they stared and stared at me. My heart was pounding. What if they say I can't keep it? What if it has a disease? I was nervous. Forbidden Love ( Chapter 12 ) 20th July 10:10 am Matt and I agreed on what we were going to do. He wandered over to the edge of the hole and waited for me. I had Matt's old shirt that he coinsedently had with him and I tied it round myself. It was very big so I cut it into long strips and tied it together.it formed the shape of a rope. I stood on-top of Matt's shoulders and heaved myself up and out of the hole. I untied the rope and tied it to a nearby tree. I threw down the rope for Matt and he climbed up to the top but needed some help. We left the rope tied to the tree and made our way to his house. It was so silent in his house. Only the ticking noise could be heard from the old grandfather clock. We wandered upstairs to Matt's room. The floor was covered in clothes and sweet wrappers. We sat on the bed ( well I collapsed on the bed!) Started to talk about our old friends and our old school. I began to get a bit teary. Matt wrapped his arms around my waist. " You've lost weight, haven't you.". He sighed. " What?!" I giggled, " I need to!!" " No you don't!! You're going to make yourself ill!" By then he toppled over on his side, still had his arms wrapped around me and rolled over and looked me in the eye. " You don't need to loose weight!!" he explained. We then kissed gently and suddenly Matts dad, Richard walked in. " When you two have finished making out I was thinking of making pancakes!" he blurted out. Matt snorted obviously finding the scene rather amusing. He got up and wandered to the door. " You coming?" he asked. " I'll just be a minute." I replied and sat back, relaxing. I have the most wonderful boyfriend in the world....
