Looking Glass i look into the dirty mirror, i stare into those #lifeless eyes. they are a bottomless pit of absolute nothingness there is no passion, no hunger for #life. i am no longer the person i used to see in the mirror, the person bursting with curiosity, and bubbling with excitement. I no longer yearn for knowledge or seek out happiness. all i see, with my vacant, dead eyes is an empty future, painted in all grays, with nothing to look forward to. you used to give me reasons to strive ahead in #life. you were my lookingglass to the magical world of hope. but now that you’ve been taken- stolen right out from under me- I can no longer see the light through the looking glass. grey cement bricks shield my view from hope. If there is no hope, what is the point?
