New Story Hope U Like Hey guys it has been a while since i have been on here so im gonna write something that kinda relates to me. Hope you like it!! I stood with my hands in my hips, gazing at the sea opposite the football pitch where i worked. It was a beautiful sea, the bluest according to the Queen. The wind was low and the sun was high in the sky, even though it was only 80am. "You ok?" "I'm just thinking." I replied. I turn and see Jamie, towering over me. Even though he is in the year above me, he is well above my height (he is over 6ft) with blonde short hair- cut in the new 'boys' hair fashion'. His eyes gazed at me for a second too long. I turn away, smiling. Jamie has only started recently at the Soccer Stars School where i work for free every Saturday. Call it community service if you want. As soon as he walked in, he wasn't afraid to speak to others but when it came to me, he seemed shy. It didn't help that i was shy too. Anyway, we got talking after a couple of weeks. We started talking about the weather, moving onto music then the local festival coming soon to where we live. We have slowly become friends. We talk every day after school on Facebook or Skype. I wish i could go to his school, a mixed school, not a posh girls' school. There is so much pressure, it is unbelievable! Summer holidays had just started, and i couldn't wait. Long days at football coaching then warm evening doing whatever i wanted. Everyday during the first 3 weeks of the summer, Jamie and I spent the morning coaching together, chatting inbetween each session. During the first week, the weather was so hot that we went down to the beach everyday. We invited friends from both schools to party every night, and it was a blast! During the second week, the weather went horrible. It was still hot, but there was rain storms. On the Wednesday of that week, Jamie, Hamish, Adam and I were all taking the goals back to the shed after the first session (younger kids) finished. The rain suddenly came pouring down. "Piggyback race!!!" Hamish yelled. "I tagsie Mollie!!" Jamie shouted. "Damn!! Guess i'm gonna have to carry you." Adam said to Hamish. I clambered onto Jamie's back and wrapped my arms around his neck. "GO!" I shouted. Jamie ran over the hill and when i glanced behind us, i laughed. Hamish was hanging off Adam's back, clinging on for dear #life! "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS" Jamie sang in his slight farmers' accent. I smiled as i got off but then i stumbled and fell!! Jamie fell over too, and we were both rolling down the wet, grassy hill, laughing hysterically. When we finished rolling, we just lay next to each other like it was the most natural thing in the world. We stared at the sky. Jamie pointed out funny shapes in the clouds. I laughed. It was still raining. Hamish came running over with his camera from his college and took loads of pictures. Some of them were the sky, the rest were of Jamie and I. One photo was me whipping my head back, my long brown hair lashing out the raindrops in a waterfall fashion. "Perfect!" After the rain stopped, we all ran back to the hut. "I'll edit them then post them to you!!" Hamish said. After work, Jamie and I stood at the bus stop, shivering but laughing. This day clouldn't get any better. During the rest of that week, it was fairly busy so there wasn't much free time. But then on Friday, something happened that risked both mine and Jamie's lives... "You ok?" "I'm just thinking." I replied. "What are you thinking about?" "I have a bad feeling something is going to happen" I whispered, still looking at the sea. "Pffttt..." I turn again and see Jamie laughing. "You are so cheesy!!" He laughs hysterically. "As if!" I reach up punch his shoulder lightly. To be continued....
