Untitled This is a #poem I needed to write for an English project and feedback would be GREATLY appreciated. --------------------------- Blurred televisions, buzzing soft, shining bright. As I lean on my cane, I stare at the country of screens All the incandescent colors beam Memory's and emotions, flood to my deceasing mind. Of how #life was when the world was kind. We had no computers, no cellphones, certainly no wireless internet. Just our experiences, books, lessons and regrets A world that's rapidly diminishing, with no hope of it living A language now spoken by the world Babies, teens, toddlers, adults. Technology rules us all And to my six year old grandson Electric colors brighten the room, a loud buzzing looms Amazement washes over his face, suddenly he doesn't want to leave this place. He tremors with a terrible excitement. He can't hold still or fight it. A burning hope in his wide eyes as I realize a world that's rapidly growing. A language now spoken by the world technology rules us all.
