Something Distant Fingers intertwined with my own, where a love shaped birthmark imprinted into my skin, like a memory from a dream. Feet would graze between the broken down, dusted sand, merely brushing past our legs from the warm breeze. Eyes would wander and impulsively linger for a prolonged second changing the expression on his face to one that was happily in love. Pupils dilated whilst eyelids would slowly fall. Skin would gently touch and rearrange itself to lock into his. Lips would interlock softly, only for a moment. Hearts would beat faster and more relaxed than ever before. Hands would unwind quickly and run away sharply. Feet would escape and no longer touch. Eyes would look away, leaving mine to weep and his to stare. Pupils would harden in a scared and upset peril. Lips would be bitten and chapped, as my throat would ache and trap my words. His heart would carry on as before whilst mine was taken. And left outside and tormented. Memories of him would fade and continue to pulse loudly within me. Wanting to scream. Wanting to cry. Wanting him. Only leaving...nothing.
