May Be We Are May be we are just tired after centuries of betrayal To see the mountains of trusts fall down one by one Eyes and heart are full of stones Even the tears are reluctant to come to the ground. May be we are just tired after centuries of desertion To see the sky blackened but never rain. The fishing boat that continuously spread her net Forces away herself from the coast. May be we are just tired, loosing energy to breath The bad smell from the past garbage is blown by wind We close our window to prevent the smell And we're deprived of the bright sunlight as well. May be we are just tired and almost giving up But the law of nature that inspires us to live. May be we are just tired because we are.... All out of energy, all out of love.
