The curse of the midnight ruby
The scene starts off at a dark, stormy day. Paris was lying down at bed in her house. She was staring at the inked sky trying to spot the stars(which was quite impossible) and explaining to her little sister, Jacki, who didn't get single thing what a star was. She thought it was a tiny, twinkling machine in the sky shining brightly and dimly. Paris soon got bored and took a random book from a shelf and started reading. "The chronicles of Narnia", too long. "The freckle juice", too short. "The missing ruby" too bori..... wait, WHAT? 'Since when was it there?'. As she skimmed through the book she faded away....
It felt cold, wet, and damp. "Hahaha..!" She heard a distant cry. She could tell it was an ice palace because it was made out of ice and you could see people from the next rooms. Except for the fact that they were't quite human. Maybe dwarves of some sort. Then she heard footsteps. As they drew closer, she shuffled back to the corner she had came from. Then she came face to face with an old man who was wrinkly and had a pot belly. He was wearing a red sweater and tight jeans. Then, as he rolled out his scroll, he read out, "You have been captured because you have read our very VERY personal handbook. You can not get let out until someone comes to rescue you. And as for a fact you are as small as an atom in reality. This place is under your sister's bed.". As he said that, Paris got scared. Then, before Mr.Roo went away, Paris shouted" Please, please let me free. My sister is young and we don't live with our parents". The tears welled up in her eyes. One by one, they started trickling down. Then he stopped. He said," Do you think that I will actually fall for that lame old, dumb trick?". Then, as you might have guessed, he stomped away noisily until no single sound could be heard.
