My Story-Chapter 1 I'm Sarah, and ever since I was a little girl I've learned that you don't get anywhere without doing something yourself. My #life has never been perfect, I've put up with the popular girls, and believing you don't have to be popular, your friends are the most popular people you know. So if you believe that, good, keep on believing that. But I have a different story to tell, it's about today and later on. I walk up to school alone everyday, and that's only because it's my thinking time. Half of the day, teachers call on me for questions that can even make no sense at times. And the other half of the day, I'm doing homework or joking around with Jason, who's my best friend in the whole world. "Hey Sarah" said Jason, striding up. Most people say we could pass for siblings, but Jason tells them. He could never date his siblings, practically everyone knows he likes me, but I'm cool with it. "How was your weekend?" I shrugged. "I got to play mini golf with my cousin,Michael. I called if you wanted to come, but you were at a recital apparently." I turned bright red. "Jason, you know I don't perform" Jason smiled and nodded. "Yah Sarah I know. Come on, now we have to get to class." "You get to class" I said, rolling my eyes at him. Jason held his head. "Don't do that, it makes me dizzy" I laughed, and followed Jason to homeroom. When I was around 9, my mom died. My brothers, Tim and Carlos were 11 and 12. Dad was in Miami, Florida to visit his brother for a week. We were staying with Aunt Charlotte, because mom wasn't doing too well. We were all away when mom died, it made us feel guilty, that we weren't right there, watching, and making sure we could...making sure that if death visited her hospital room. We could've rattled death's throat, and claim it as our victory. But mom had taught me to not live in the past, and be careful about taking things for granted. So what do you say? Welcome to my #life.
