And There Was Darkness A SAMPLE There was once, a long time ago, a civilization here who were constantly at war with themselves. They were a savage race, cruel, and evil. Although we are defended from them, a lot has changed since then. That was all before the golden age of Earth. During the golden age, there were no wars, nor any reason to begin any. And the fall of man was inevitable. The world was split into six territories- one for each habitable land mass, and one for the moon. Each territory created one ultimate weapon- a powerful person called the Z. The seven Z helped keep the peace for years- until the coming of the 8th territory. They came from nowhere, emerging from the shadows themselves, ripping apart the very threads of space and time. The Z were defeated and put into a cryogenic sleep, and were long forgotten. And there was Darkness. ~~~~~~~ Something was not right. He could feel it- or maybe that was what was wrong- his feeling. It had been centuries since he last felt... Or was it minutes? When was he? Where was he? This made no sense. Feeling around, he reached a small metal handle. A small push told him this was the door handle. Exiting his chamber, he turned to examine what exactly he was in. And his answer came. It was some sort of capsule, made of glass and metal- with the label over it, reading only 'TG.' (He took that to be his name- if not, at least he had something.) Why couldn't he remember? Who was he? TG closed his eyes. A bright letter Z glowed on his inner eyelid. This was his only clue.
